on arriving we had a warm greeting, Yannick and Jean Claude are very accommodating.
we booked an evening meal were the food and service was outstanding. We shared the evening with another couple which made for a very pleasant time.
the room and overall décor was done with taste and very comfortable.
Breakfast was a standard continental breakfast.
Will be booking again when in the area.
The only criticism, was the in room Tea and Coffee had a very limited selection of teas and no milk.

Superb host who collected us from Migennes train station at 22:00 and drove us to the accomodation. Excellent pre stay communication. Delightful setting a minute's walk from the river. Beautiful dining and sitting rooms. Compact but comfortable bedroom. Lots of spots in a charming garden to shelter from the sun. On site ,off road secure parking. Fulsome breakfast and delicious home cooking available in the evening. We felt very cared for. Loved our stay of 3 days. It would make a great central spot to stay longer and explore more of the region. We stayed ahead of our boat trip, 12 minutes away from Migennes. Perfect!
No aircon on property,but Yannick upgraded our room to a cooler ground floor suite and provided fans as weather was extremely hot. Even provided ice-cream to keep us cool. If your looking for modern , minimalist hotel style accomodation, go elsewhere but if you want a charming location , full of character and homely, french comfort and attention, this is the place for you

Yannick was superb - as host and chef! The house is so lovely and our rooms were extremely comfortable as well as beautiful! Our dinner and breakfast were delicious! A 5 star experience! Definitely recommend
