Excellent

Excellent location in the old town, very near the bus station. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. No parking but you don't need a car, the publica transportation system is very good. The room and bathroom were good size, clean, with AC (a must in the summer). Small terrace in the room for coffee in the morning and wine at night A bigger common terrace with an spectacular view of the ocean and town I recommend the hotel and would definitely come back

For a short visit it is nice to be in the Chora to be close to the shops and restaurants.

The owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms are of a traditional style but all very clean. Although the hotel is a little uphill towards the castle it is not too bad and is close to the many restaurants in the old town. It is about a 10 minute walk from the port.

There was little we didn't like, although perhaps a plug for the bathroom sink would be useful!

Pleasant room in a gorgeous location.

Lovely little balcony with a sea view. Neat room. They gave us a kettle to boil water for tea,.on request. Away from the tourist madness but still close to the shops and restaurants.

Great location

Really great location, easy to reach from the port and easy to walk to all the main sites and the bus station. Comfortable bed and lovely view of the water.

Familiar hotel with lots of atmosphere

We stayed at this hotel for the fourth time (1998, 2000, 2010 and 2025) and would choose it again and again. The owner and his family are very nice and helpful and from the rooms on the upper floors and from the breakfast terrace you have a wonderful view of the city and the Naxos Gate. This of course means that you need to be a good walker to reach the hotel. But it is quiet up there, apart from the church bells ringing in the morning, as there are many churches in Chora.

The hotel is not close to the beach. For someone on a beach-only holiday, it is not so suitable. But there are buses down at the harbour (5 minutes from the hotel) that take you to the various beaches on the island.

Was a little up the hill but got used to walk( just hard with a backpack in the heat on the first day) close to a great bakery though!

Very nice stay, lovely view and central but quiet location

The view from the balcony was great and the location was perfect in the old town yet quiet. We could also hear the sound of the waves from our room. I loved the style of the room. The bathroom was new and modern and the hairdryer was good. Breakfast was also nice with a bit of variation and fresh orange juice made at the moment served on the balcony with a nice view,

I'd probably make the daily cleaning service in the rooms a little bit more thorough.

Location was great in the middle of old town. Staff were helpful, we were able to leave our bags in reception before check in and after check out. Beautiful views of the ocean from the rooftop terrace and lovely gardens.

We got a pretty room with an excellent balcony, overlooking Apollon temple, the sea abd parts of the old Town. Not everyone have a balcony like we did. Good cleaning, towels changed every day. Nice and helpful staff, good breakfast. Very nice location in the most pretty and calm area of Chora.

Lovely little hotel. Rooms and balconies were immaculate. Daily cleaning. Friendly staff. Close enough that it was an easy 5 min walk into the centre, but far enough out to be really quiet. Great size balconies. We had one on the shady side so it was warm but not boiling in the heatwave.

Amazing 2-night stay in Naxos!

The centrally located and charming Hotel Anixis is the perfect place to stay during a visit to Naxos! Located minutes from the port and lovely shops and restaurants in the old town made it perfect for a 2-night stay. We were able to walk to nearly every activity and those we needed a cab for, we could access easily following a 5 minute walk. A note - if walking from the port it is ~10 minute walk uphill/winding cobblestone streets. We opted to walk but the hotel did offer to arrange transport upon arrival. The staff was friendly and helpful, and breakfast each morning on a rooftop terrace was delightful and worth the extra 10 euro per person. Our room was simple but just what we needed. Would definitely stay again!

A perfect place to call home during a trip to Naxos Chora.

We had the most magical stay here. Hotel Anixis is like something out of a fairytale - gorgeous, well taken care of, and inviting. It’s centrally located and within walking distance of everything in Naxos Old Town from the port to great restaurants. The staff is incredibly kind and sweet and went above and beyond to make sure our every need was taken care of. You couldn’t ask for a better stay.

Peacefull retreat with view.

Peaceful and quiet. Several blocks back from the waterfront. So no traffic noise. Great view from room and breakfast. Lovely entrance garden.

The hotel is situated in the old part of town, full of character and handy for all amenities. The room had everything we needed and a superb view. We were slightly disappointed in the breakfast, which did not have the variety or home-made produce we had experienced at other properties.

The location In the Chora with gorgeous view over the port and roofs from high up. Handy kettle for making hot drinks. Spacious room with living area

Mattress on bed could have been better. (Cocomat (made in Greece) are amazingly comfortable ) There was an electric hob and eggcups but only a massive saucepan no small one, so if we had wanted to prepare some boiled eggs we would have needed a lot of time, water and electricity!.

Beautiful hotel

Everything!! The location is perfect, 4min walking distance to the main town but far enough to not be bothered by the buzz of other tourists, just the relaxing sound of the waves. The staff of the hotel are very charming and helpful. The view from our room was incredible with a little table on the balcony to sip a tea or a glass of wine while looking at the ocean. The breakfast area also has a great view to the ocean. Rooms are nice and big and are cleaned everyday. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here and if I am back in Naxos would definitely stay here again.

The shower of our bathroom was a rectangle, although I am quite small I still managed to bump into the faucet or wall.

Fabulous stay

We had a really warm welcome and got a pleasant vibe from the owner. Our room was really clean and quite spacious. The balcony with a sea view was such a nice addition. We loved the location, close to central without being noisy, felt like we were in our own little world. The bed was SOOOO comfortable. 100% will be back. Thanks for having us!
