Hotel Garni

The room was nice and clean. It was close to the highway, but very quiet.

The listing mentioned a "great breakfast", but there was no breakfast at all

Room facilities and arrangements

Cozy, clean room with comfortable bed. A big balcony with a couple of chairs and a table with an ashtray (a smokers' dream). Some nice extras, e.g. electric kettle with a couple of Nescafe 3in1's and tea-bags, as well as fully functional Android TV. Common space was appropriate and fine (functional lobby, clean bathroom and WC).

As I didn't pre-order breakfast at arrival (I didn't want any), I couldn't get a coffee the following morning with explanation being that they didn't have cash register open. I asked around 8:30 and was told, that the earliest time I could get one was 10am (check-out time). Nowhere have I ever experienced such an absurd scenario.

Nicely renovated low cost room.

I would say a higher standard of a hostel. Renovations still on-going in the corridors - visible signs only, no reconstructions during our stay. Part of the building is Garni hotel, part is long-term hostel. During the night it was too noisy as the hostel people where going to/coming out round the clock /probably factory workers/. There was a birthday party in the hotel restaurant on Saturday - far too noisy even after 10:00 pm. Still noisy even after midnight even if the music stopped playing. The room itsefl was newly refurnished and nicely decorated and it included all what is needed. + kettle, fridge and own bathroom. Too thin walls - you could hear voices and noises from the room next to yours. Bathroom - missing hangers for towels, missing a shelf next to basin. Mirror is placed too high on the wall.
