It is a beautiful hotel and very well worth the money'. The room was spacious and very clean and the buffet was exceptional.

Our two-night stay at Cinnamon Wild Yala, including the private morning safari, was simply unforgettable. From start to finish, it exceeded every expectation and has become one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve ever had. The absolute highlight was our incredible safari guide, Rohan. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and expertise were outstanding, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Thanks to his careful planning, we were first in line at the Yala gates and the second jeep into the park, giving us an incredible advantage. Within the first 30 minutes, Rohan guided us to a pair of magnificent leopards basking in the beautiful morning light—an absolutely breathtaking sight. Even more impressively, he and our driver expertly navigated the park to position us for a second viewing of the same leopards. It was simply amazing. The safari continued to deliver unforgettable moments, including a family of elephants with an adorable baby tusker, an incredible variety of birdlife, and countless other wildlife encounters. Every moment of the drive was exciting, and Rohan’s ability to spot animals and share fascinating insights made the experience truly exceptional. The hotel itself was equally impressive. Our room was very comfortable, and the buffet meals were outstanding, offering an enormous selection of delicious Sri Lankan dishes alongside plenty of international options. Every meal was a feast. One of the most unique aspects of Cinnamon Wild Yala is that the wildlife doesn’t stop at the park gates. Seeing crocodiles and water buffalo roaming the hotel grounds made it feel as though nature was all around us while still enjoying the comfort and luxury of a beautiful resort. If you’re considering staying at Cinnamon Wild Yala, don’t hesitate to book the private morning safari—and if you’re lucky enough to have Rohan as your guide, you’re in for an extraordinary experience.

The property is located very close to the Yala National park. Just outside the resort is a beautiful lake, filled with crocodiles. It is beautiful to watch in the afternoons and evenings

The food is insipid. Very bad food. Nothing to do at the resort other than the safaris to Yala National park. The rooms are very very basic and over priced. At 450 dollars a night, it was absolutely not worth it
