the apartment was clean, large and had lovely views.

the check was 9:00. We contacted the owner to see if this could be extended but she did not reply. We spoke to her on the date of departure and she said we could stay longer. It would have been helpful and convenient to knkw this the day before.

A real alpine atmosphere. Wonderful location. The panorama is stunning. Spacious terrace. Easy parking. Large, spacious rooms. Peace and quiet. Incredible proximity to the lake (walking distance, about 10 minutes). Dog-friendly place.

We felt the kitchen facilities were a bit poor.

The accommodation was very nice and clean. Bedrooms were spacious and well furnished. Nice view from a balcony. Very close to Lago di Braies.

The kitchen was poorly equipped. There was not a single fork nor mug.. Also the lightning in the kitchen is bad and when cooking in the evening you have to use a flashlight to see the cooker. We found it hard to sleep first night as from 23:00 till 0:30 we could hear noises from outside (like someone hammering). However, we were the only guests at that time.

the property is meant to be left clean (to avoid extra cleaning charges), which is fair, but no cleaning products were available, not even washing up liquid. not many people would pack it…

The view of the apartment is breathtaking. And you get a mini experience of living in rural areas for a bit. The apartment is very big and comfortable. The host helped me a lot to book a taxi to leave the place. And also brought a cot for the baby. The kitchen has almost complete equipment like pots and dinnerware. You can get fresh eggs from the host. nice :)

The location depends if you have a car or not, with a car it's perfect. But if you're like us, with no car and with children, getting to the bus station is not easy. Especially if you need it to get to a supermarket. The nearest supermarket is like half an hour away (by bus), and there are not even tea bags or sugar and salt in the facility. I would be happy even if I could buy them there and not have to go such a long distance to get them. The apartment is a bit old and needs some fixing, as the toilet broke down on the first day and we wouldn't stop hearing the running water sound. I never understood why, but around midnight every night we were there, we would hear hammering! really annoying! Especially when you have an asleep baby and you don't want her to wake up. After booking the place, I understood it can be extremely hard with no car and two kids to get there, so less than 24 hours after booking, I asked the owner to accept my cancelation (it was no cancelation policy), so based on the booking.com policy, they had the right to accept or not to accept our cancelation but as it was less than 24 hours, I believe it would be the human thing to accept it. But she said because of Corona they didn't work for 2 years, so they won't accept it! And also that there were others who said their kid is sick, but we still didn't accept to cancel their booking. And when I called her, we made an agreement that I cancel the room and she keeps the money, but if someone else books it, she refunds me. Although we agreed on that, she never accept my cancelation so others would be able to book it, and never replied to my emails. Anyway, for not losing 470 euros we paid for the place, we did go there and we liked the place. But if there is the possibility of changing plans or getting sick, better not to book this place nonrefundable!

The property is really nice and clean, we had an amazing room with a view.

It’s hard to commute if you don’t have a car, no bus stop near the hotel. The staff is not great as there is no communication: impossible to find the host – doesn’t reply the calls, never at the property, impossible to discuss anything about the stay. Also, when we just got to the property, we had to wait 20 minutes out in the cold for the host.
