Ses Sucreres Small & Slow Hotel

I fell in love with Ses Sucres! The owner, Ignasi, has a wry and whimsical aesthetic. He has done a superb job restoring both Ses Sucres and the sister hotel Hevresac, with charming, comfortable rooms and great common spaces. Ses Sucres, in particular, has a wonderful garden and swimming pool. Breakfast in the garden is one of the great pleasures - I felt like I was in a European movie! Beyond that, the staff and Ignasi himself could not have been more helpful.

Nothing could have been better!

The hotel is gorgeous, and it's so clear that it's been thoughtfully designed throughout yet still homely and inviting! My favourite parts of the hotel to rest and relax were the roof terrace, the outdoor dining area and the upstairs garden. Great price to value proposition. To top it all off, Ignasi was a very wonderful and kind host!

A couple of small issues - I personally didn't find the bed to be super comfortable (it was just okay). On the first night, I unfortunately had some noisy neighbours and although not the fault of the hotel at all, but worth bearing in mind in case you are sensitive to noise...

Felt very welcomed, was given a list of great recommendations, Ignasi was very kind, the included breakfast was amazing.

Lovely hotel with nice attention to detail in the common areas. Relaxed and quiet. The hotel was just refurbished one one side and rooms were quite simple. We stayed in two different rooms (first on the older side and the other in the refurbished side - we preferred the older more traditional room). The hotel is spotlessly clean and Ana’s breakfasts were very nice and enjoyable!!

The air conditioning was not working and the owners refused to lower it below 25 degrees even though it was very hot during the days and nights. One of the owners seemed to have fixed it the day we were checking out. Finding parking was also inconvenient but manageable.
