The breakfast was excellent
After being introduced to the meal station I would prefer to be left alone to enjoy my meal rather than having a staff member watching us eat. We must be left alonne

The rooms are comfortable and the gardens are beautiful. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our later check-in. The location was great for our needs.
My dad's room only had hot water in the shower and my room door couldn't unlock from the inside (had to pass the key through the window for someone to open for me). A bit of maintenance will sort this out.

The quiet location. Quiet and peaceful.
Unfortunately, the room we were booked in had two single beds which are divided by a centre board, meaning me and my wife had to curl up in one single bed or sleep separately. They said all the other rooms were booked and occupied. We suggested that we move the one bed to the other side to make it a double bed but they said we're not allowed to move furniture even in their presence. So we had to adapt.
