We were really disappointed with our stay. The grounds and facilities are lovely, and you can see the potential for this to be a fantastic place, but unfortunately the service and food let it down. The restaurant was closed on Tuesdays, meaning there was no food available, which seemed unbelievable for a venue catering to guests. It also appeared to be seriously understaffed, with far too few staff for the number of people staying. The manager seemed to be doing everything herself, and while she was clearly working incredibly hard, she looked exhausted and overwhelmed. It felt as though she was being stretched far too thin, which unfortunately had a huge impact on the guest experience. Breakfast was particularly disappointing. Food was left sitting out all morning, meaning the yoghurt and fruit were warm rather than chilled. The eggs were either undercooked or overcooked, with no consistency. At €20 per person (€80 for the four of us), the breakfast simply wasn’t worth the money. Getting any kind of service was extremely difficult. We waited around an hour just to get a drink because there was no one available to serve us. The property is also poorly signposted, and reception is just an office, making it confusing when you first arrive. To make matters worse, our room had an infestation of ants. I tried to find someone to deal with the issue, but once again there were no staff available to help. It was incredibly frustrating and completely unacceptable. It’s such a shame because the setting is beautiful, and the facilities are excellent. They even use ingredients grown on the grounds, which should have made the food a real highlight, but sadly it fell well below expectations. With proper staffing and better organisation, this place could be amazing. As it stands, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience. Based on the standard of our stay, I believe a full refund is justified.

This hotel finca is such a hidden gem! We absolutely loved our stay here, the room, the 2 pools, the delicious food, the beautiful common spaces and gardens and the serenity of the birds signing the whole day! Highly recommend! Our daughter also had the best time. Thank you for everything!
