Location was super. The building didnt look like much from the road, but it was quirky and traditional inside. Our room had a huge wooden beam holding up the next floor, and ceiling beams, shuttered windows.
It was so poorly lit. There was a lovely sitting area with books and cozy areas for reading but you coukdnt have read anything as it was so dimly lit. The lighting in the room was no better with just 3 low wattage lights in the room. There was no hot water from the bathroom sink in the evenings. Receptions phone would ring and was so loud in our room. We had to ask guests chatting invthe reading area to keep the noise down as we were still sleeping.
