This one and some others in London are basement stays, small rooms that would be suffocating if not for the portable fan stored on a shelf in each room. I liked this one and another closer to the British Museum and arranged each on Agoda so accepting the lesser option for a smaller fee (assuming the basement is the cheapest, poorest option in either case) but the staff were always attentive and the room in Seven Dials had a fridge where I put a loaf of bread and a bottle of wine and would put all my food if I had more. The towel was worn but clean and there was no shower soap but I brought my own small bottle of Bronners and a quick dry camping towel both fit into a tall ex-med container so prepare for the washcloth-less EU/UK. Easy to walk that area of London which seems super safe but city-logic common-sense always applies.

We had an overnight stay here and we did enjoy every minute of it. Great location, near to the place where we wanted to go.

Double bed in a single room, very small room,
Shower overflowed each time,
Had to have extractor fan on all the times
1x pillow each
The cleaning lady was nice.
It was not worth the money we paid for the room we had.
