We had originally booked hotel for a single night as we were going to Hydra on the Friday for a family wedding. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions all ferries to Hydra were cancelled, resulting in us needing to arrange accommodation for 3 nights. We spoke to the reception staff who went above and beyond, to facilitate us in the Hotel and ensuring we could stay in the same rooms, reducing any further disruption on our behalf.
Area area can be a bit noisy at night due to a number of bars in the area. However it didn't disturb us too much.

Rooms were nicer than i expected but the beds are very hard. It is right next to the cruise port terminal B. The breakfast and servers were great! Front desk very helpful.

What truly sets Faros apart is its staff. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, practical, perfectly located and excellent value for money, but the people working there are what give it its character. Every single member of staff we encountered was wonderful: genuinely friendly, attentive, helpful and professional without ever feeling formal or distant. What impressed us just as much was the dynamic between them. There is a strong sense of camaraderie, mutual respect and teamwork; everyone seems to know their role while supporting the others naturally. You can feel that this is a well-structured team rather than simply a collection of employees working the same shift. That atmosphere carries over to the guests and makes you feel genuinely welcome. The staff are, without question, the heart and soul of Faros. We originally booked the hotel for only a couple of nights before leaving for a Greek island. We enjoyed our stay so much that, once we returned to Piraeus, we booked Faros again for another three nights before our flight home. I think that says more than any rating could. It has now become a hotel we know we can rely on whenever we are staying in Athens or Piraeus. The location is another major advantage. You are only around five minutes' walk from central Piraeus and very close to the port, while Piraeus itself is exceptionally well connected to the rest of Athens by metro, buses and other public transport. You therefore get the convenience of being close to the ferries without sacrificing easy access to Athens.. For anyone interested in island hopping, the location is particularly useful. Piraeus is one of Greece's principal ferry gateways, making the hotel an excellent starting point for trips to the Saronic islands such as Aegina, Agkistri, Hydra, Spetses and Poros, as well as Salamina.
Honestly, we couldn't find anything negative to mention. Considering the price we paid and the quality we received, the value for money was excellent. What more can you realistically ask for when you are approximately five minutes on foot from the centre of Piraeus, very well connected by public transport to the rest of Athens, and within easy reach of the port for ferries and island hopping? Even some practical details were better than expected. The room had its own individual split-unit air-conditioning system, rather than a centrally controlled system regulated by hotel management, so we could adjust the temperature exactly as we wanted. Together with the fact that the room electricity remained available even when we were out, these small details made the stay considerably more practical and comfortable. That said, I think it is important for travellers to have realistic expectations. This is not a five-star luxury resort, nor is it a themed leisure hotel designed around entertainment or an elaborate holiday experience. That is simply not what it is trying to be. Faros is primarily the kind of hotel many travellers use for one or two nights before or after a ferry journey, for a short stop in Piraeus, or as a convenient base between island trips. Judged for that purpose, it is exceptionally good. It is clean, comfortable, practical, very well located, staffed by genuinely wonderful people, and priced very reasonably for what it offers.. For the money they charge, it is a genuine value-for-money hotel and, in our case, it exceeded expectations enough that we chose to book it again only a few days later.

The location is convenient with easy walking distance to Terminal A port. There are a couple of nearby restaurants to find quick food. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The room wasn’t equipped with proper bedding given the temperature. A blanket was too much as a cover in an air conditioned room but a blank sheet of cloth was too little. It wasn’t a comfortable night.
