Living Room - Queen Murphy Bed
This 1-bedroom/1-bath, 600 square foot, second-level corner unit has great views and will sleep up to 4 guests. The living area has a gas fireplace, a 43-inch flat screen Smart TV with streaming and cable, and views to the SE and towards Dollar Mountain. There is a deck off the living area with a table and two chairs to relax and take in the views of Trail Creek below. A Queen-sized Murphy bed is also located in the living area. The dining table seats four. There is no elevator in the building to get to the second floor where the condo is located.
The master bedroom has a King bed, 32-inch flat screen Smart TV, and Mt views. There is a full-size bath with a tub/shower combination and a single vanity sink. A stack washer/dryer is located in a closet in the master bedroom. There is a ski locker on the first level of the building for guest use. NOTE: This unit does not have air conditioning!
Complex Features: The Cottonwood Condominiums are located on Dollar Road just across from the Sun Valley Village. The Sun Valley Pavilion is about two blocks away. This is the best location for convenient access to indoor and outdoor ice-skating rinks, pools, hot tubs, shops, and meeting facilities. The location is known for its privacy and tranquility, featuring a blend of comfort, warmth, and scenery. Landscaping includes ponds and streams on the grounds. Bald Mountain ski lifts are 1.5 miles away, and Dollar Mountain ski lifts are 0.5 miles away. Both ski lifts and downtown Ketchum are easily reachable by the Mountain Rides shuttle that stops at the entrance to the Cottonwoods. In the summer, the bike path provides miles of scenic biking or walking enjoyment.
Sun Valley Resort Amenities: A maximum of 5 amenity passes will be issued per reservation for access to the pool at Sun Valley Inn, available year-round. During peak summer season only, the amenities pass also includes access to the Olympic and kids’ pools, priority tee times, hotel rate for golf, and a discount on tennis, gun club, and trail rides. The workout room, sauna, hot tub, and Lodge pool are NOT included. Alpine Lodging cannot guarantee amenities will be open, as resort policies can change at any time.

Great location for all seasons! We stayed in the fall and loved the babbling creek outside and the beautiful colors. The bed is quite comfortable, and the kitchen well-stocked. There is easy access to the Sun Valley Lodge and amenities, and it's a quick drive into town for restaurants and the grocery store. It's well suited for a family of 4, but wouldn't want to share the en suite bathroom with friends. It was perfect for the two of us.

We rented this condo for a quick weekend in Sun Valley. It was a perfect location, right across from Sun Valley Lodge. The condo was comfortable and clean. The murphy bed is such a great option vs a fold-out couch. Please note that the bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom, which can be awkward for more than 2 people. We didn't mind, though. Would definitely stay there again.

If this condo wasn't in Sun Valley, we would have rated lower. The area is awesome, but this property seems outdated. The fan in the bathroom was super loud and rattled. The bed sheets were itchy and not comfortable. The pillows were old and small for a king bed.
On the plus side, the 2nd floor balcony had gorgeous views of the fall colors in the trees and the creek outisde was beautiful.
This was a last minute trip and our two night stay was so-so. We had a great hiking and hanging out in Sun Valley and Ketchum, but next time we will stay somewhere else.
