It was a very comfortable stay.

The breakfast was nice and eggs cooked personally. We had a comfortable bed, heating and a good pressure shower. The hotel was quiet at night and parking was available.

Surprised about the distance from Boppard as walking was not possible and therefore we were glad we had a car. The restaurant looked nice but it was a very expensive menu and so we didn't utilise this option.

Excellent stay

The room was spectacular with a cute balcony The room equipped with AC and heater was perfect. The family run hotel is very hospitable , breakfast was welcoming and served with love Parking is available as well.

A hidden treasure

The location is quiet and residential, a car is essential. Boppard is situated about a 5-10 min drive away. The hotel is a family run business and everyone connected with it are a delight. They are helpful, informative and multilingual. The room was of medium size, exceptionally clean and comfortable with a balcony. Breakfast and Dinner were excellent, as was the sandwich we requested to help out with Husb's potential middle of the night hypoglycaemia.

It would be helpful to be told that there is a place called Weiler-Boppard as well as Boppard-Weiler. Your satnav needs to use the latter. All else was great.

A lovely stay at an exceptional family run hotel.

All the staff we met were extremely friendly, helpful and cheerful nice people. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, clean comfortable, warm and well appointed. The food was excellent too, served and presented very well in a very classy dining room. Quality was exceptional. The hotel was in a quiet village far enough away to not be affected by the trains, boats, traffic and people along the Rhine, but near enough to get there in minutes if needed. Breakfast was great, continental with a couple of different things also and a choice of egg dishes cooked to order. They made my wife’s birthday something special whilst there.

There wasn’t anything to not like, but (as always there is a but), the Hotel does not have a lift, however assistance was immediately offered with luggage. The other little thing is that as a small hotel it has a day off on Wednesday, this means no room service or dinner in hotel. As there are no tea and coffee facilities forethought has to be given if you are there that day on arrangeing drinks and dinner, although suggestions were given. Breakfast was still served each morning.

A lovely welcome, spacious rooms, fabulous dinner and breakfast. Huge bonus with such a great restaurant for dinner. We were cycling so would not have wanted to go into Boppard for dinner and climb up the hill on the way back!

A little out of town but we had been cycling along the Rhine so no need for a view of the river.

A great hotel for a visit to the Rhine gorge world heritage site

The hotelier greeted us warmly & personally carried our bags to our room. We had 2 evening meals both of which were delicious. Breakfasts were very good too at a reasonable 8 Euros per person. We had dinner on a nice terrace under a large umbrella. Our room had a balcony and air conditioning when needed. All staff were helpful and friendly. Free car parking too! Highly recommended!

Well run hotel slightly off the beaten track with exceptional food, superb comfort & warm welcome

The welcome was warm, friendly and genuine - something that tends to come with a family-run hotel such as this. The room was immaculate, with great bed/pillows/aircon etc. Attention to detail in all regards exceptional. However, the thing I liked most was the dinner - my word, whoever's manning the stove can't half cook! Also really good value.

We only stayed one evening while en-route from Italy back home.

It was a peaceful, relaxing and pleasant experience.

The hosts were amazing. They helped whenever in trip planning and every other guidance I asked for. The cleanliness was impeccable. The hotel restaurant was classy. The breakfast was very fresh and had a personal touch of care. I travelled with a kid and the host ensured to go out of the way to prepare something of the kid's choice.

The location was uphill and in a very peaceful village. Though I booked a room with mountain view, the sight of the hill was very limited from my room.

Michelin appreciated restaurant

The boutique small hotel was very cosy and tranquil. Rooms decorated with taste and fully functional with a lot of space. The restaurant Michelin stared run by a lovely family: the youngster in the evening and the older ones in the morning. All of them speaking good English. The dishes - excellent and tastefully prepared! What a good choice! And all of these in a landscape to dream of: Rhine Valley with its coquette chateaux. Wonderful place and wonderful people: shall return in autumn for sure! :)

The Location is perfect, we were warmly received, the hotel personnel assisted with our baggage, the property is well maintained with modern décor, our room placed on the 1st floor was ample and roomy, with all facilities, a very good shower, good AC and a comfortable bed, car parking at the front and rear of the property, the breakfast well prepared and presented, the restaurant both inside and out is amazing with a 5 star menu worthy of any plate, the cost for an excellent meal was very acceptable, the hotel location is within a rural location, well placed for a driving or hiking experience, many choose a hotel and cross fingers that it meets expectations, be assured this is one amazing experience, they have a three star rating, well, we have travelled the world and stayed in the best hotels, it is our opinion that this hotel ranks amongst the best, our one criticism there is no lift, however there is ample willing help to aid and assist you, should you decide to book, you will not be disappointed, this hotel is run by the 5th and 6th generation, you will witness their pride and dedication, enjoy your stay David and Betty Bailey from the UK, dated July 2022 ,

We dined two evenings here. The service was great. The food portions were generous. We were not rushed. The beds in our room were firm. The hot water seemed to come into the bathroom immediately.

It was a perfect stay, but we spent here only one night

The hotel is very nice, clean and modern. We had a triple room and it was perfect. With a nice little balcony. Everything that we needed was there. The staff there are amazing, super nice and helpful. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Though it was quite expensive, but it was delicious. In the morning during breakfast time the view from the restaurant windows is beautiful. You are really treated as a valued guest at this place.

I don't think there is anything we didn't like here. But just a warning that this hotel is located in a very small village. If you want to be in the quiet and enjoy the nature, it's the place to go. We were travelling along Rhine and were just here to spend the night and move on the next day. I can't imagine a lot of activity in this area for a long stay :) But this of course depends on tastes )

Quiet, comfy, good value.

Staff was exceptionally helpful, they solved the wifi problem immediately. They went extra mile by preparing a dessert that was off the menu. Beds were comfy and wider than regular. They had pillow options. Restaurant offered tablets for the menu. Checkout was fast and our invoice was prepared in advance. I wish we could stay longer.

Good gasthaus with very friendly staff and great restaurant

Very friendly and attentive staff, both in the hotel and the restaurant. Available to give good advise on bike trips, food and generally engaging and attentive. There is a good restaurant on site, offering a wider and more interesting choice than many other places we have visited in Germany. We ended up eating all 3 evenings in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed our meals. The rooms are good, not particularly spacious but what you would expect in this price range. The bathroom was clean and up to date, and we had a nice balcony.

The hotel is in a little village, ca 20 minutes drive away from Boppard. In itself not a problem, but you should be aware that you have to take your bikes on the car before you can cycle in the area, unless you fancy a serious climb up the hill on the way back.

Wij komen al meer dan 40 jaar in de "Ritter", en hebben het zien uitgroeien van een eenvoudig restaurant naar de top lokatie van nu. Wij hopen er nog vaak terug te komen. Wij voelen ons hier nooit klant, maar altijd Gast met een hoofdletter!

Unterkunft und Restaurant mit viel Wohlfühlcharakter

Die Unterkunft bietet insgesamt einen geschmackvollen, gemütlichen Komfort, das ganze Haus ist schick renoviert (Betten waren auch sehr gut). Es herrscht eine unverkrampfte, gastfreundliche Atmosphäre, die nicht zuletzt vom sehr freundlichen Team ausgeht. Das Restaurant ist sehr schick und modern eingerichtet und hat aber trotzdem viel Wohlfühlatmosphäre! Nicht zuletzt überzeugte uns das für einen Landgasthof weit überdurchschnittliche, sehr professionell, schon raffiniert zubereitete, reichhaltige Abendessen Kurz: wir haben unseren 4-tägigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Gefallen hat uns alles, allenfalls haben wir im Zimmer noch einen 2. kleinen Sessel vermisst.

Perfektes Hotel für einen Kurzurlaub

Sehr Lobenswert ist das gesamte Personal. Das Essen im Restaurant ist der Hammer, sehr gut. Auch beim Frühstück gab es nix zu meckern, es war alles da. Auf Wunsch Eier nach Wahl, frisch zubereitet. Sehr große geräumige Zimmer, sehr gutes Bett und modernem Bad. Unser Zimmer hatte einen Balkon. Parkplätze am Haus vorhanden.

Uitstekend hotel en zeer zeker de moeite waard om hier terug te komen ...

Zeer hartelijk en persoonlijk ontvangst. Begeleiding naar de kamer en uitleg over de airco en schuifdeur gekregen. Zeer goed restaurant met uitstekend personeel. Reserveren is wel noodzakelijk. Mooie locatie om vanuit hier diverse toertjes te doen. Parkeergelegenheid voor de deur.
