Hotel Prinz Eugen Vienna

Close to the train station and U-Bahn. Comfortable room.

Expensive breakfast at Euro 21/person. We found a cafe around the corner instead. Breakfast price needs to be lower or offer a 2-tier choice

Hotel directly opposite main train station - great for connections. The reception staff were always super friendly and helpful. Bed very comfy and big. Room very spacious! Air con effective if a little noisy. I paid about £100 a night and i think that is an appropriate price point for room with balcony.

It's not in the centre of Vienna as such. It's dated. It looks like it was last renovated in the 70s. My carpet had holes and a stain in my room. wifi kept going on and off and I had to keep reconnecting. No furniture on balcony.

Convenient, though the balcony overlooks a main road so is little use.

No kettle in room even though you say it is provided

Near wien hpf station and Belvedere. Beds were comfy. Bathroom.was nice. Air con in room was good. Breakfast buffet was ok.

Check-in was fairly stressful and unwelcoming. After a long journey and arriving late in evening with 2 kids in tow, was told that we hadn't booked for 3 people (family room) when I had (luckily i had the booking.com info to hand to show so that was resolved satisfactorily, perhaps a problem with communication between booking.com and the hotel?), was initially told that i'd need to pay extra for the 3rd person.. Then told we would get a family room.but not with balcony (family room king size with balcony was described on my booking) which was surprising, almost as if it was my fault that the booking was incorrect, but when got to room it did have a balcony. Room felt very small and outdated (white walls were grubby, marked/in need of re-paint in places), did expect more for a 4* hotel. Overlooks a very busy road and air con was noisy.
