Hôtel Les Nations

The location was excellent, easy to get to my meetings. The staff -- especially Nicholas & Merriam -- were exceptionally helpful. My only regret in filling out this questionnaire is that too many other people will want to stay at this hotel and then I won't be able to get a room for myself.

Location in a mostly residential neighborhood but at walking distance to the UN if you are in town on business there. The room has blackout blinds that make it quite dark for sleeping in when your time zones are messed up.

The quality of the beddings is under standards for the price we paid. I don’t require silk sheets, but the pillow was practically inexpensive and gave me neck ache. The sheets were cheap & rough. The a/c is both a plus (since not many places have it in Geneva), but ours wasn’t working properly: it leaked water into our suitcase that was underneath it and it only cooled the room down to a warm 25-26C. The continental breakfast was very very basic. I’ve stayed in hotels of this level, but I expect to pay way less for something like this than what we did. So while it’s cheap for Geneva standards, it’s way overpriced for what it offers. There are better cheaper hotels in Geneva!! Also, if you are a tourist, this hotel is too out of the way of the tourist part of town with only 1 bus option connecting you to that area.

Excellent stuff! We arrived very early in the morning with two big suitcases and nowhere to stay, and they allowed us to check in early.
