Charming boutique hotel close to Cancale

Charming bed and breakfast boutique hotel, located in a building that was built in 1618. We stayed in a deluxe room which was rather spacious. We liked breakfast and food at the cafe was very good too. I liked their little wine cellar with a glass floor. Pool and jacuzzi was a great addition after a long day exploring the area.

Beautiful hotel, amazing setting, and the kindest of proprietors

We absolutely loved our stay. This is a beautiful property, decorated with care, with a heavenly garden and pool and jacuzzi for chilly days. The breakfast was delicious. The thing we were most struck by was the owners. They were incredibly accommodating, from putting us in a quiet tower room to helping us find gluten-free breakfast. They are clearly passionate about the hotel and it has a lovely personal touch as a result.

An excellent find, will definitely return if in the area again.

The property is delightful and our hosts very pleasant and helpful. The current owners have only had since November 2024 and still doing renovation work so some areas still need attention. Safe parking and great location for keen riders as next door to an Equestrian Centre. Although do able it is a little too far for walking to the town or port. However, the hotel bar area serves substantial snacks until 10pm which was perfect for our one night stay.

The steps to our room a little difficult but it looked like they were temporary and will be improved in due course.

Great place - with excellent staff.

Excellent place with super friendly staff. The room was tidy and the beds were very comfortable. Super good shower! Lots of parking, good little bar which offered light meals only and an excellent local beer. Breakfast was very tempting too! And a great little pool area. Highly recommend this place for its value and feels.

A little out of Cancale town center. We got a room in one of the towers, and as it sometimes can be in an old building with a tower - the staircase/access was narrow! But that is nothing!

Just a lovely stay in a traditional hotel French style

Just the most beautiful little place in a stunning location with warm and friendly staff. Only stayed a night but wish we could have stayed for three to do some exploring in the region. Lovely

Large room with comfortable bed. Large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Quiet. Heated pool and jacuzzi. Nicely renovated building. Decent breakfast.

A convoluted access route to the bedroom through Jack & Jill doors. It's a drive to the local restaurants.

our favorite hotel on a 9 day journey through Brittany....

From the moment we drove up we were in heaven. An idyllic setting. Beautiful landscaping, rolling hills, trees, horses, fountains; a lovely manorly house. Reception was exceptional. If you are staying in this area you must try to stay here. Only about 5 minute drive to Cancale, a lovely small oyster city!! Right on the waterfront.... Breakfast was also lovely.. An array of cheeses/meats/eggs/bread. Looking out on that fabulous landscape!

Really liked the place, breakfast was great and the surrounding grounds and gardens were very nice.

We had a dog with us. Whilst very dog friendly we were on the 2nd floor which wasn't the most convinent location. Also the general information in the room could have been more comprehensive. None of this would put me off returning again.

A very nice stop on the way to Quimper.

A wonderful visit back in time - beautiful mansion on a large estate. It's a quiet spot with lots of green. The reception was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The walk to the restaurant (100 steps) and the gallery of the viaduct very interesting and unusual. It was a nice walk back after dinner. The staircase leading up to the room is beautiful. The room was comfortable with all the amenities one needs.

Pleasant and comfortable, though some way from the centre of Cancale.

The hotel was set in pleasant grounds. The room was a good size. The jacuzzi and pool and patios were very much appreciated.

The hotel was quite some distance from the main port area of cafes and restaurants.The room was a little on the dark side. Gaining entry required holding one large heavy door open whilst having to open an even heavier door, with only room for one person to squeeze between, which made it difficult to carry cases in and out. There was no communal lounge area in the main hotel where we could relax and read; there was an area in the annexe, where we could make coffee. We considered 15 euros expensive for breakfast, so brought in our own croissants and ate them in the annexe.

Lovely quality stay in Cancale!

The location was great for what we were looking. Calm, fresh air, silent, but at the same time close enough (by car) to the center of Cancale. The room we stayed was in the upper level, well decorated and very clean. Bathroom was really good with a shower and bathtub all made with quality materials. Breakfast was on an extra charge (15,00 euros) but really good, with a variety of cheeses, jams, breads, charcuteries, yogurts, eggs, crepes, etc. Really worth it. Staff was really nice and helpful.

I was indeed very pleased overall. Nothing to dislike.

Super nice stopover

Lovely decoration, space to sit outside, very helpful, friendly, english speaking staff. I loved the whirlpool bathtub in our room (once I figured outthat the on/off button is on the wall, not at the display in the tub…). There is a lovely little pool area on site. The whole setting and scenery is lovely.

Not much to critisize. In case you would want to walk to „downtown“ Cancale, consider a 20 min walk. And there are flies… they have horses close by, so there are flies. Didn‘t bother us much.

Es ist ein süßes kleines Hotel. Was gerade renoviert wurde oder renoviert wird. Die neue Einrichtung war sehr geschmackvoll. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr zuvorkommend und immer sehr freundlich. Sehr schön ist auch das kostenlose Wasser, der Kaffee und der Tee.
