It was in a stunning setting. The service was excellent, the hosts were so friendly and helpful with recommendations. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and very generous.

A truly charming farmhouse with a beautiful garden where breakfast feels like time stands still. It’s the perfect romantic getaway—somehow the days passed incredibly fast while every moment felt wonderfully slow. The family running the place are genuinely lovely people who made us feel so welcome and cared for. We left with beautiful memories and can’t wait to return.

Casa Vale Del Rei has a vibe that makes you never want to leave. It is a beautifully restored and meticulously maintained rural farmhouse, quietly situated on a hill just outside the charming town of Tavira, with its many cozy streets and excellent places to enjoy a great dinner. Surrounded by orange groves and olive trees, the farmhouse features an enjoyable and playful garden that reveals new details every day, a refreshing and relaxing pool, and very clean yet tastefully equipped and decorated rooms (including climate control and mosquito nets on the windows). The breakfast is absolutely fabulous and can be enjoyed in the early morning sunshine—or in the shade, if you prefer. The overall modest scale of Casa Vale Del Rei gives it a very intimate atmosphere. Last but certainly not least, the owners are exceptionally warm and welcoming and always available for a chat, a joke, or advice on where to go and what to do. Although we regrettably had to check out, Casa Vale Del Rei will always remain in our memories, and we are certain that we will return someday.
