Both food and location good.

We asked every day to have a morning tea tray in our room! The first couple of days we asked two or three times per day, still no tray! On our third day we were told they might not be available! Sorry but unsatisfactory!

Great hotel. Location was excellent

They were working in the lift. Drilling was horrendous. No apologies offered. Just one of those things. Apart from that, everything was great.

Location is fantastic, the facilities for children are great and the grounds are immaculate.

We had to move a bed against a wall to accommodate sleeping children, underneath, the carpeted room was not clean. We have two small children who both got ill during our stay at the hotel. This required a couple of bedding changes and the staff associated with this were fantastic. Disappointingly, a very confusing and misleading laundry pro forma led to an exorbitant charge of around €130 for a bag of laundry. It took my partner a significant amount of robust discussion to eventually get a 50% refund on the laundry costs, which I was assured would be returned to my credit card. This did not happen until we chased up the hotel 3 weeks later, at which point it was completed within the hour. This experience is purely fact. From an opinion point of view, we did not feel welcome with young children, more of an inconvenience for a hotel which caters for business, tour group and golfing customers. The lack of clarity around the laundry and subsequent discussion revealed a lack of understanding, particularly from the reception staff (my partner had to ask to speak to the manager regarding the issue). Overall, a disappointing hotel experience.
