The Manor Farm Alderton

I had the most relaxing stay here. Victoria and Jeffrey are lovely, warm hosts who do everything they can to make your stay in their wonderful old home a fabulous one, from the moment you step out of your vehicle. My spacious room, overlooking the courtyard, was immaculate, super clean and very comfortable, with everything you might need. It was wonderful to wake up to the sound of horses gently neighing. The house and gardens are simply stunning, set in idyllic peaceful surroundings. I enjoyed having tea outside, whilst relaxing in the glorious sunshine, alongside their friendly but not imposing dogs. This is an old fashioned traditional style B&B, and I really liked having breakfast alongside their other guests around the table. The cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was also a vast choice of cereals with beautifully fresh fruit and yogurt too. All set in pretty farmhouse dishes in Victoria’s lovely breakfast room. I felt very cared for! All in all a delightful and most memorable few days. I would love to go back soon.

We loved the quiet location. The hosts were super friendly and interactive and the breakfast was superb with a most beautiful selection of seasonal fresh fruits, followed by a hearty full English breakfast. Couldn't fault it.

The property is beautiful and in a beautiful location. Victoria and Geoffrey were amazing hosts and the breakfast spread was superb. I was there for work so didn't really have a lot of chance to enjoy the tranquility of the quiet location but what I did experience was lovely. The room was very comfortable and the view over the garden was great.

Almost everything. Rooms extremely comfortable, full English breakfast excellent, Wonderful time spent with the owners, Jeffrey and Victoria and YES everything oh so quiet and peaceful. Also excellent local pubs in the area with one in walking distance!

Lost wifi a few times in our room. Some of the local road were narrow and challenging but don't let that put you off!!
