Beach House Carmen

The location of the property was great very close to the shops and the beach front . The train station is about 10 - 15 minute walk. The property was clean and had all the necessary things you may want in an apartment . Everyday there is a little van who comes 3 times a day that sells fresh beautiful amazing bread and cakes freshly baked everyday . They use a horn to let you know they are coming . We looked forward to that everyday . Having fresh bread and pastries was amazing . The times may vary but they come between 8-9am - 12- 13pm and 16 - 17pm everyday . They only take cash payments.

Unfortunately there were a few little issues however I think it’s just down to preference. The only air condition is in the living room and is faced towards the living room door which I think is not good idea as the air does not flow throughout the room only towards the door. There are not fans or air condition in the bedrooms which makes the rooms extremely hot. However there are little balconies. (Fans or air conditioners need to be provided for the rooms during the summer ). Having the doors of the balconies open does not provide much air flow in the evening as it is humid. Unfortunately the best are not the most comfortable for me , however I also think this is down to preference. Parking would be very difficult as the neighbours put big plastic bottles or chairs blocking people to park to secure a space for themselves and thier vehicles. This is not allowed so not sure why the neighbourhood manages to get away with it . They are the only neighbourhood that does this . I think it’s quite selfish and should not happen. So please bare that in mind .

The apartment was great! It had everything we needed for the holidays, very comfortable and quiet.

Excelente apartamento, localizado numa zona mais calma. Com tudo o que é necessário para umas excelentes férias. O anfitrião respondeu sempre prontamente a todas as questões. Recomendo!

Temperature in the accommodation was very cold apart from the living room which had a AC unit that heated the room.
