Next time I will definitely choose a hotel

The location is really good and the apartment was relatively clean.

The apartment wasn’t renovated for a long time. It also looked a little bit different than on photos - no pictures on the wall, no carpet on the floor. The bed sheets, blankets and towels are all extremely old ( I even found a hole in pillowcase). Another problem is internet - it works only in living room, so I mainly used my cellular plan. The tv only had 6 channels- all in Bulgarian, so it was useless. There was a planned power shortage during my stay, that owner forgot to mention…

The location is the best. It is in a quiet neighborhood but just a few minutes walking distance to the city center and also walking distance to the main city beach with popular beach bars.

Very nice apartment in the heart of Varna

Great location. Friendly staff. The apartment is really spacious and offers just about everything you need. The washing machine was unexpected yet perfect. The AC, though a bit noisy and dated, is perfectly adequate for the size of the apartment. Would definitely return again.

It may not be new and shiny, but if you can live with it, there's really nothing to complain.

No AC in the bedroom (only living room space), but it was fine, not too hot for us. Good to have a secure parking space but 20BNG a night seemed a bit steep

Location was great! So mush room to stretch out! Staff was great once I stopped messing up! I was out of comfort zone and made mistakes I regretted! So sorry for culture shock experience! I do better next time for sure! I was the problem, not them!

Very convenient location for a weekend stay

Location is excellent, really close to the Cathedral, where you can catch public transport to the beaches. Also really close to the center. Every thing you need is at walking distance. The host was kind and cool, great thing is that they leave in the same building and you can leave luggage with them or meet them in person if you need. We also had a spare set of keys and this was great as we were 3 people.

The only thing I did't like was that it was too noisy and too light during the night in the living room, where the sofa bed was. If you are to sleep there get ear plugs, and eye mask. I didn't have and I couldn't sleep at all. The room oversees the street and there's traffic, people chatting outside at around 4am. You can close the terrace door and shut the windows, i slept with just the door barely open, to let some air in, as I cannot sleep with AC on, but this didn't stop much of the noise. There's some light coming directly into the room from outside, too. Maybe some thicker curtains would solve that. And some mosquito nets would be also good.

Equiped with everything needed

Location is really good , close to the center, close to the railway station. Rooms are well-equipment, not modern furniture, but well-maintained. You can use the laundry machine, which is a great thing. There are 2 terraces - 1 for each room. Sleeping in the living room is also ok - there's a sofa that can be unfolded and sleeps 2. The bedroom bed was also comfortable.

It is really central and can be a bit noisy at times during the weekend especially. Having some earplugs would help with that. Parking is paid extra as this is the entire central area of Varna - but they have solved this: you can pay the hosts and park at their garage or in front of the street. The bathroom can be renovated, but all was good with it.

Is a great apartment close to the center, cathedrale and you can pay for a private parking place inside the building. For us it was very important to have a safe place to park. The owners were very helpful and nice, gave us useful informations so they did our stay very comfortable. Hope to return very soon.

The building could have been cleaner inside and outside, also the balcony and the bathroom. This was the only negative thing that I've noticed.

Широк апартамент с оборудван кухненски бокс. Две тераси. Прилична баня. В близост до главната пешеходна зона. Този в който бяхме беше на четвърти етаж, без асансьор. Да се има в предвид за трудно подвижни хора.

Пред сградата е синя зона, а паркоместата в сградата са ограничени и струват допълнителни 15лв./денонощие.

Central location and great hosts !!

The cleaning very superficial , windows, bathroom and kitchen need deep cleaning. While showering the water was not draining because the drainage was clogged. Another very annoying thing is the sun in the bedroom that wakes you up super early because the curtains are not dark enough plus no air conditioning in the bedroom :(. It felt expensive for what we got .

Very hard to park in the reserved parking spot at the back yard of the building, very tight space requiring lots of maneuvers. The bathroom needs to be cleaner, also it needs new towels.

Spacious clean apartment in a quiet but central location with all facilities

Great location, close to train station and sights. Host stays in the same building and has several other apartments. Our apartment was 3 floors climb up the stairs, lot of natural light, spacious, 2 balconies, big couch, on a quiet street. Next to a mini-market which carries everything and also produce market. Easy instructions to pick up key from the lockbox. Host gave us a new electric kettle; brought an updated cheat-sheet with wifi password, etc.

Overall great apartment, really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again. Some minor things: smaller shower and not enough place to put shampoo etc; bed not as comfortable, curtains not dark enough, wifi could be better

Nice place with nice hosts

Neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Secure building - outer door also has a lock. Owners live in building upstairs and are very nice people and let you in. They were very helpful and helped me with my luggage since the apartment is on the 3rd floor (technically fourth floor and there are four sets of stairs and no elevator). There is air conditioning/heat and a clothes washer with drying outside or on line or rack which came in handy to wash the one bath towel and one hand towel that I was given. Kitchen is old, but it worked fine for making quick simple breakfasts and some snacks. Good location - less than 5 minute walk to the cathedral and to beginning of City Center. About a 20 minute walk to Varna Beach and port. Bus stop 5 min away is useful for coming/going to train station. Several mini markets within 2 minute walk and a farmers market every day two streets away. Avoid the guy with the rotisserie chickens - they are over cooked, dry and have no seasoning (not even salt or pepper). There is a kettle and there are coffee/espresso vending machines (which are excellent!) on the street corners and a café next to the building. Make sure you do the free (tip at end) walking tour that starts in front of the information office (across from Cathedral). It is very useful.

You will need an eye mask to sleep past sunrise because the bedroom is on the east side and it is very bright in the morning. Current drapes are very thin (adding shades/blinds or changing to blackout curtains would really help.) The sofa was VERY uncomfortable for sitting. TV could be much bigger since the sofa is pretty far away and the space can handle it. Not many channels and they in Bulgarian. Microwave would be nice for heating up food. The stove worked but was really old and a little dirty. When the Wi-Fi works in the bedroom, the strength is very low (1-2 bars). Not apartment specific, but town specific: (1) there are seagulls everywhere and they’re very loud and noisy especially in the morning so you may want to bring some ear plugs wherever you stay. (2) there are mosquitoes in town so bring or plan to buy repellent.

good location and price, but not a comfortable apartment.

the location is good near the Cathedral and outdoor markets and a central promenade

too cold, the heater in the livingroom barely kept me warm, i had to sit under it most of the time. the electricity in the building went off 1 night. the wifi network disappeared completely 1 night the garden view is actually not a garden, it's just short space between other apt buildings, no real privacy if you open the curtains.
