Appartement T1 Hyper Centre place de la Victoire

The place is rather spacy and the bathroom is quite big. It was very clean. It had a kitchen and a nice fridge. The owner was very responsive and made a large effort to accommodate my late arrival to the city. The location of the place is very central and a good place to start a walk around the city. Getting to the place from the airport was quite easy. The building is historic and gives a culturly feel.

The place doesn't have an option for self check-in so you have to arrange to get the key from the owner. This is limited to 20:00 and could be arranged till 23:00 for an extra fee. There is no option to check-in later than that. This is not clearly stated in the description, so I was quite taken aback when I found out after I paid for the booking - I was arriving at midnight. Luckily, Carolle was very nice and I had a friend that was already there pick up the key earlier that day, but it was an uncomfortable situation. The place doesn't have a wardrobe (there is one but it's locked). There is a damp smell even though the apartment has been refurbished in a modern style. The bed linen and pillows were synthetic so it was not so comfortable for sleeping. It was really cold at night (even in June) - there are blankets in the drawers next to the bed, and if you wanna use the heater you need to turn on the fuse in the fuse box first.

Situé à 15 minutes à pied de la gare saint Jean et à deux pas de la place Saint victoire et de la rue sainte Catherine, le studio permet de découvrir Bordeaux sans être noyé dans les touristes. Il est joliment aménagé et correctement équipé.

Pour parvenir au studio au 1er étage, il faut passer dans un couloir extrêmement sale et mal odorant, encombré de poubelles. J'espère que cela est circonstanciel. Une machine à café et une théière serait un plus apprécié.

L’appartement est vraiment très bien situé, et la chambre est très grande et moderne.

Il y a beaucoup de poubelles dans le hall d’entrée et un peu de vis-à-vis.

Clean and well positioned room !

The owner has a very rude attitude right from the beginning! She asked for additional money (32 euros) for the tourist tax, which was not mentioned upon booking and without getting a receipt. She also threatened to charge 400 euros if we lose the key. Many facilities mentioned on booking.com are missing: no wardrobe, no hangers, basically you stay with your clothes in your suitcase, no oven and others. The wardrobe for clothes exists but it's locked. We only got 4 small towels for 2 adults for 4 days in summer (despite saying she provides bathrobes). Room security is a problem as the entrance to the building is never locked. To get to the room you need to get past 3 huge dumpsters with a terrible smell and there are rat traps on every floor. We asked the host for hangers more towels and she answered after 3 days in a rude manner. I do not recommend!
