Fantastic location but it is really unfortunate that the Air Force base commander refuses anyone to walk the beach in front of the radar facility. This was allowed for 40+ years and now it is a security risk?

The staff at the office set the tone for our family vacation. They were super friendly and welcoming!! The unit was clean, updated, beds were comfortable and all the essentials were provided to get you started. We own an Airbnb in our city so I look with a critical eye and found the unit exceptionally well done. The grounds were immaculate. Pools very clean. But the star of the show is the view—every window. The pictures do not do it justice!! Absolutely the best!! Cannot wait to come back!!!

We always enjoy our January stays at El Matador 459. Wish the weather would have been a bit more cooperative but we still relish the change of scenery, delicious seafood, pickleball, and golf. Alicia J. Hollis Rentals has always performed in a professional manner and we highly recommend their office as a rental agency.

Our unit was nice, we had an amazing view! The elevators were a little scary. While doing maintenance one day, they had a generator parked right outside the elevators with only one small orange cone. Very unsafe. The furniture in our unit was outdated but comfy. We didn’t like how far down the island we were. We prefer to be closer to the other end and didn’t realize it was sooooo far. But that’s nothing bad about the unit itself. If the unit had some updating done, it would have been perfect (minus the long drive down the island).
