Hard to believe that you might need a day off from the beach but if you do take the family to Big Kahunas Water Park in the center of old Destin. Much more than just a water park… it’s a day of fun!

With two pools, his and her whirlpool, and saunas just right for your tired muscles after a game of tennis on one of our courts, or in our fitness center. This gated community with thirteen miles of undeveloped beaches to the west is sure to have you longing to return.

We had another wonderful experience. Condo was perfect! Beds were great, condo was immaculate, and of course the location is perfect! This was my son’s first time at El Matador and he loved it. Everything about the complex is spectacular, including all the staff. And Alicia Hollis Realty makes the rental process so easy! This will always be our home away from home!

We tried a new unit out after our last one on the property was a bust. This unit was excellent and far exceeding the prior one. Easy access to the beach and parking lot. Unit was in good shape and plenty of kitchen space. Only complaint I have is the morning sun blasting you as you sip some coffee on the patio, which isn’t really that big a deal anyway. Will stay again.

The original unit I reserved has bed bugs and we had to relocate to another unit that was not comparable to the original unit reserved. Have not gotten the $$$ worked out at this time so that may be another negative.
