Breathtaking. Especially the barons room which was very big and gorgeous.

This is the most incredible ‘hotel’ we have ever stayed in. It is a genuine and beautiful and lovingly restored castle. The owner is charming and will show you round. The rooms are amazing, the setting is beautiful, attention to detail is wonderful and the price is ridiculously low especially as it includes breakfast. You MUST stay here if you are in the area!

Spectacular room, just like in movies or museum. The bed was comfy but a tiny bit small. The bathroom and toilets were good. Breakfast is between 9-10.30 am, which is served in the shared eating area. They provide good croissants, bread rolls, strawberry jam, butter, orange juice, coffee, good hot cocoa (not too sweet), hot milk, fresh fruits (apples, bananas, nectarines). You can bring your own food for dinner, just have to dine in the courtyard instead of the room which was also nice. We were offered a castle tour after checking in together with the other guests. It took about 20 minutes and was interesting.

The room is quite heavily decorated and is rather dark on color, making it a bit prone to forget stuffs, but as long as you are careful this is no problem.

It was stunning…highly recommend it. The main rooms are extremely authentic and spacious and the smaller rooms are cozy and comfortable

The only thing was the lack of water - would be nice to refresh the rooms with bottles of water everyday - and when we asked they could not accommodate - a small thing and so folks should be aware.
