About this cottage rental
Cummins Camp is nestled in the woods on the shore of Lake Superior. The front windows afford views of a woodland pond, Lake Superior and the city of Marquette in the distance. A short walk will take you to miles of clean sugar sand beach and crystal clear water. Ducks, geese, herons and eagles are frequent visitors.
Downtown Marquette is 4 miles away. At the end of the driveway is the Iron Ore Heritage Trail/North Country Scenic Trail. It connects to other hiking and biking trail systems in Marquette. This is a non-motorized trail in the summer and snowmobile trail in the winter. Marquette Mountain (downhill skiing), and several cross country ski trails, including the Noquemanon trail network are within 10 miles.
Cummins Camp has a large living room and kitchen, 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a double, and two bathrooms on the main floor. There is an additional double bed in the finished basement. There is a screened porch on the back and a deck overlooking the lake. Amenities include dish washer, washer and dryer, cable tv, wi-fi and a wood burning fireplace. There is no land line and no air conditioning (the lake usually provides its own cool air).

Amazing location and great lodging. We enjoyed our stay very much. Home is full of local art, books, and was stocked well with all the essentials. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Right next to walking/running/kayaking and near hiking trails and downtown. Quiet and calm setting. Loved it!

This is a great cabin with the perfect location 4 miles from Marquette! The beach is beautiful and quiet - we had a fire and watched the fireworks on the 4th and took walks every morning. My family with 17 and 19 y/o girls had plenty of space - more than we expected. It was 90 but with windows open and fans we slept well. The kitchen is well stocked and the owners provide simple check in and check out instructions. We’ve stayed in 5 different cabins on M28 over the years, and the location, price, space and comfort of this cabin was our favorite. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

Bikes, beach walks, swims, naps and hikes all right in front of you.
Easy 10-min trip to Marquette.
