Nice staff but a halfway house

Was told by a resident that he just came out of prison and this was used as a half way house. Also everyone we spoke too said it was unsafe due to drugs and other sexual services going on their. We didn't have any money to move hotels but we spoke to the owners who were nice enough but the room was very small, bed really uncomfortable with dirty sheets, and a broken light socket which was unsafe. We did have a front room with kitchenette but no crockery and with broken sofas.

Excellent stay – highly recommended! I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. The location was quiet and convenient, and it felt like great value for money. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Value for money Hotel

Staff were very good. I was upgraded from a single to a double room for no charge. Rooms were clean and tidy. Carpark outside the hotel was safe. Price of the room for the night was excellent as other hotels in the city centre were at least twice the price.

No food or bar at the hotel which was a little strange as it is a converted pub.

Friendly helpful staff and very comfortable beds. Great to have a microwave, but so many food options in the area we also enjoyed getting out and about. Location was very handy for us too.

Handy for work not far from town not far from Crosby overall a good stay

I would recommend this place for business purpose close to work not far from to get places in Liverpool cheap enough but got enough. The stuff are Crescent and if you had any problems they will rectify them.

8:12 I did not stay at this accommodation. I did check in and was shown to my room. Going to my room I found the place to be very dingy, unpleasant and quite frankly dirty. I passed ongoing building works which hadnt been cleaned up and outside my room door was a huge pile of dirty laundry consisting of bedding and towels. The bed in the room had not been made up and there was no clean linen around for this to be done. The curtains in the room were falling off the poles and when I opened them I was greeted by a brick wall. There was no lock on the bedroom door so therefore the room was not secure to stay in. The who appearance of the room was dirty and unkempt. From the front of the hotel the windows were filthy and curtains on the windows were not hung properly. as a single elderly lady there was no way I could stay in your hotel on my own. I felt very intimidated and unsafe. I gathered my things and left. When I met friends from the area, later in the evening they said that your hotel, allegedly, is used to house people who have just come out of prison. Says a lot and confirms to me why i felt so insecure however that doesn't excuse the tardiness of the property. I really want my money refunded. regards. Ann Morgan

As we were upstairs, it got hot fast but the staff quicky solved this issue by bringing a fan.

Comfy and clean bed and bathroom but very tatty around the edges.

Clean bed and bathroom. Good receptionist. Comfortable bed. Quirky room with a mezzanine and 3 beds.

Cobwebs. Carpet could do with a deep clean. One towel for 2 people. Skylight with no blind so light at 4am. Wallpaper tatty and TV stand peeling and damaged. Broken window. Easy and not expensive fixes the hotel could make to improve.

Had a lovely time

The shop is literally across the street. The guy in the reception very friendly and helpful , greeting us with a great smile. I loved that the room has a kitchen sink and mini fridge. Had a lovely stay

Glad to leave! One star hotel

The price was good, but after staying there it was not worth the money I spent.

One window would not shut , the chest of draws the draw fronts were badly damaged, one hanging off. The shower cubicle were covered with black mould , didn’t want to use anything , the hotel cost me twice as much as a travel lodge, would prefer to stop there!

Not as described as said deluxe sweet, not deluxe sweet side not clean & part of settee missing part of arm rest looked dirty. Kitchenette only basic & kitted out for 1 person not 2 & overpowering smells of different plug in air fresheners in apartment & smells as you entered hotel leading up to room
