The property offers the most amazing views from the dorm overlooking the deep ocean one side and the beach the other, nestled high - but not too high - in the hills.

The dogs. Now I absolutely adore dogs, but the one little dog was a complete and utter nuisance which the man, who I assume is one of the owners, took no ownership of. Instead, during the night this little dog yelps and barks and insists on climbing onto the bed with you, whilst the owner settles in bed for a great night sleep. Absolutely not on, especially when you are a paying guest chasing some tranquility. But that’s not all. No no no. They also thought that a rooster would be a perfect animal to keep on the property. As we all know, Roosters enjoy sounding off their awful call at the first glimpse of day light, here it was all throughout the night/morning. And it doesn’t just ring off for a few minutes, nope, it goes on and on and on and on… you get the idea. A complete shame because without these two nuisances, I’d have probably said it was the best stay we have enjoyed so far on our trip around South America and I’m now almost reluctant to recommend this hostel because of the above.
