Perfect for a weekend get away.

Easy to find, reasonable rate's, easy instructions to follow to check in. Comfy bed with clean linen. well appointed kitchenette.

En-suite door needed repairing as it didn't open properly, TV need's upgrading as it kept cutting out and had no controller. No air conditioning.

False advertising - Dirty - old and worn out - expensive

not a lot to like about the room we stayed in

It was dirty, with filthy windows and spiderwebs. There was a big spiderweb with resident spider right above the bed I slept in, the bed under the window, so only inches from my face! the blinds were dusty, the shower was broken and door was off tracks and couldn't be shut so had to shower with it open. the 'view' to the sea that was advertised on website was in fact just straight out into scrappy bushes, and the 'pool and spa' was a disgusting green with leaves and dirt on the surface. absolutely NOT what it appeared on the website. The carpet was stained and felt dirty and damp underfoot. The room had a damp musty smell, and only 1 chair for 2 people. very disappointing, and expensive for what we got, will not be coming back. There was no one in reception to check in or out and we were within business hours both times, just a key in a box - which was fine but I expected to see someone at least the next morning. Interesting that the photos on the website are all of seemingly nicer rooms, there is no pics like the room we stayed in and definitely not the same pool - FALSE ADVERTISING!

Spacious, good location but quite run down, needs some TLC

The motel was quite run down and not what we expected. Our accomodation was really spacious but old and not as clean as it could have been. No air conditioning and it was very hot, the fans provided were old, rusting and one wouldn’t stand up. The curtains were dirty, old and let a lot of light in. It also smelt weird when we first arrived so some diffusers would be ideal. The spa pool water was bright green. It has the potential to be amazing accomodation, especially as it is in a good location and is a good size. With a bit of effort put into the decor, furniture and cleaning it could be an awesome stay that people would be more than happy to return too.

No fly screens on windows so at night you have to choose to either be stifling hot with all the windows shut or be eaten by mosquitos

Loved our stay here

Actually really loved our stay here as a family of four. Good value for money for such a huge room and in such a great location. Kids loved the trampoline, swimming pool and spa and we loved our back door opened up to these facilities so kids could come and go as they pleased. Beautiful view of the water from the living room. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. Quick walk to supermarket, eateries and the bus stop! Would 100% stay again.

Yes it’s run down but you get what you pay for. The location and size of the rooms def makes up for that in my opinion.

Mosquito ridden place, even with all windows closed and lights off it's impossible to get sleep here. Not very clean. For the price point it's not a great option.

Poor value, poor standard

It is a spacious property and fairly quiet

Location was odd - must be the worst street on Waiheke. Very close to neighbours - children and dogs running around, so no real privacy. This isn't a 'professional' type of accommodation, it's a run-down older style bach, without the facilities or decor i'd expect from a Motel provider. If I wanted to rent someone's bach I would have gone to bookabach or an Air BnB.

Pleasant enough just to sleep in

Large room. Easy to access with note left for us. Trampoline for my daughter to bounce on.

Seemed more of a place a tradesman would stay than for a tourist/ things needed a revamp as seemed old such as the yellow toilet seat. The pool wasn’t open and looked tired and old.

Perfect base on Waiheke Island for groups of friends or families

Brilliant location, easy enough to get to, very central for a number of beaches which can be walked to and vineyards. Large bright spacious cottages which were well stocked with plates/cutlery etc. Less than a 5 min walk to a large Countdown and some takeaways. Great base for a trip to Waiheke

- There were some ants in the kitchen so you had to be careful with food etc. - Slightly dated in areas but didn't bother us at all.

Everything else. Room was not up to par, photos are pretty misleading. Carpet heavily stained and beds not firm. It is very low budget and prices need to match. Shower falling apart and no space for clothes to be hung as there are no cupboards.

Relaxing and enjoyable. It met all of our needs on a busy weekend for a family wedding.

Location perfect, no breakfast required. Perfect destination for connecting buses.
