Great place to stay, we will return if we revisit the area.

The accommodation had a lovely cosy and Scottish feel to it and was in a great location for us.

A few very minor maintenance jobs arose whilst we were there, but nothing to spoil our stay.

Lovely place wonderful setting

Lovely place Congo beds plentiful hot water and was warm ( rare in Scotland ) fairly well equipped Lovely setting and could walk into town

Odd things were missing Toilet brush / oven gloves But nothing we couldn’t cope without Advert originally said logs provided but that was previous owner and fires clearly not expected to be used so prob alter the ad ?

Lovely wedding stay with friends

Super comfortable beds, bright and big bedrooms, nice bathrooms and shower, warm for an older house and lovely seating outside. Walking distance to the village was also great!

It would have been a treat being able to light the open fire. It was great that the house keeper sourced and dropped off an iron for us but it would probably be a helpful thing to have for future guests. Very minor but a frying pan would also be handy.

Lovely house a five minute walk to Dornoch town centre.

Lovely old stone built house with original features and large lawned garden. Surrounded by fields but walking distance to the town. Owners were helpful and on hand if we needed them. Everything you need for a self catering holiday is supplied. Modern kitchen and bathrooms, WiFi and sky tv.

Nothing to complain about. The house is separated into two sections. The front is for guests and the owners live in a large extension at the back, so it’s like a semi-detached house. This was fine for us but if you wanted complete privacy on your holiday this may not be ideal or you.

One of the best in our recent years

One of the best hotels we have seen in the past years. The view from the main building is outstanding. The dinner is extremely good, in taste, quality, technique and the portions are satisfying . The atmosphere is very nice and the personal is really polite and friendly. The house dog is also a great asset to the place ;). We slept in the cottage, from the outside it is really in the original style and from the inside it offers everything and it is up to date. 3 bedrooms + 3 bathrooms connected to each bedroom. A kitchen with everything you need to have and a living room with a nice fireplace and couches. We really enjoyed our stay of four nights, we will come back and also recommend to everyone who is looking for a great place to stay. They also picked us up for dinner so that we were able to drink, enjoy the lounge with living room atmosphere and the bar. Drinks also have a fair price.

we had a wonderful time here. a very warm welcome, the room was great, we've got a very good breakfast and also enjoyed the bar and the whiskies and had lot of fun with Ozzy.
