Liu He Su Hotel

立地が最高、六合夜市前、美麗島駅すぐ。 高雄空港着21:45だったのでチェックインと立地でこちらに決定。 翌日参加したが墾丁日帰りツアーの集合場所も美麗島駅10番出口でとても便利だった。 10階フロントでインスタントコーヒー、ティーパックと簡単なスナックの用意がある。 カードキー方式で部屋のある12階の入り口をカードタッチで開錠する。一度カードを部屋に置いたまま部屋を出てしまったが10階のスタッフに相談し対応してもらえた。 窓なしの部屋だったがバスタブ付きで、広さも十分。 豪華ではないが、値段を考えると旅慣れた人には十分満足度の高いところだと思う。

In the middle of Liuhe Market. See the map (picture) where the location is, not easy to see from the street. Reception is on 10th floor. Coin washing machine where you can buy detergent at the reception. Nice shower. Nice big room. Even though you couldn't open the windows there was no damp smell in the room or building. Nice view from the room.

AC on the lowest setting was still too much for sleeping. Water was everywhere when showering. Could be nice to have the trash emptied and the towels changed.

This hotel with beautiful rooms is centrally located just beside the Lihue Night Market street and just near the corner to the entrance 11 of Formosa Boulevard train station which is a central station in Kaohsiung. And it is also near also near many shops and restaurants. Would stay again if ever I am in Kaohsiung.

The entry is not easy to find at first glance but good thing with translation functions I was able to read hotel instructions in booking and find the entry lobby and the elevator to Level 10 of the building and get the hotel reception. For the room itself I would recommend they install a shower curtain for the shower / bath area to keep the rest of the bathroom dry. While the hotel is Non-smoking I think there’s always an issue with hotel guests smoking somewhere inside hotel as there was one night my room smelled of cigarette smoke from somewhere in the hallway. But it did stop soon after. Best to inform hotel reception if any issue with this. Everything else was comfortable for a short stay.
