Bed and Breakfast at Colaba

The staff was really nice. Location good and next to major attractions and eateries.

It was okay. I didn't particularly dislike anything.

The charm of this old world Parsi mansion is such a wonderful thing to experience; it's owned and operated by a well-regarded family that have been in the building for a while. Above all, the location and staff make this a great stay. Shankar, Mani, Shaban, Bharat Das and Ramji Yadav all went above and beyond to make me feel very much at home, and as a solo female traveller at no point did I feel anything other than safe and secure. I felt that the staff here were kind and hospitable beyond their mandate, and I always looked forward to seeing them each day. Shankar leads the team here very well.

For improvement - pillows can be updated (quite old but staff were able to replace when I did not feel they were up to standard); breakfast could only be served after 8am; would upgrade / add additional locks from inside

The location was great. Leopold Café was a stone's throw away, as was the sea front. Great value for money. And the place is not altogether intolerable.

The room had plaster coming off. The bathroom was unbearably tiny. I don't mind a place that's old, but one can definitely maintain it better.
