About this house rental
Welcome to our little bit of heaven, Hammond Hillton on the Oregon Coast. It's our pleasure to have been welcoming guests to our home since 2012, with the intention to provide comfortable and safe lodging in the heart of beautiful Hammond / Astoria.
Our 2-story home is situated at the mouth of the Columbia River, with historic Astoria to the east and Ft Stevens State Park just to the west. This is our family's happy escape, well suited to maximize comfort, relaxation, and rejuvenation while having easy access to the scenic beauties of the North Coast, truly Pacific Wonderland!
The cathedral ceiling living room has full views of the Columbia River estuary which spans four miles across to Washington's Long Beach Peninsula. The Columbia River's narrow shipping channel is situated immediately in front of the house offering an ongoing parade of maritime traffic; enjoyable from the front yard Adirondack chairs, or from the cozy comfort of our living room sofa.
A 2-story living room opens up to kitchen and dining areas with panoramic views of the Columbia River. A 75” SONY Bravia smart TV sits above a gas fireplace and flanked by 2 large living room windows. Entertainment options include YouTube TV with HBO, and multiple streaming platforms like MAX, Disney+, Apple+, Netflix, Hulu etc.
A well stocked kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances and cooking implements, makes staying in and cooking a pleasure. A powder room is conveniently situated off the main living room area.
Upstairs are three tastefully decorated bedrooms each with a comfortable queen bed and smart TV. Master bedroom en suite has a walk in closet, comfortable lounge chair and commanding views.
This home is not for people unable to climb stairs. It has many steps. This home is not childproof.

My family stayed here and absolutely loved it. The pictures just really don't do it justice. The house was so clean and well maintained. It is pet friendly however we left our fur babies at home for the mini vacation, but they had everything you could need for them. The hosts were amazing! If we ever plan to go back we'll definitely book this place again in a heart beat.

3 generations - grandparents, parents and grandson - stayed 3 nights in this lovely, comfortable and beautiful home right on the Columbia River. This house is so well equipped with anything you might need....TV's that are great, pool table, bikes, games, great kitchen...it has it all. Very well located in Hammond. Close enough to Astoria and would rather be in Hammond. It was a wonderful 3 night stay and the owners are very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay at this great home !
