Great bathroom and toiletries. Super refreshment tray. Big bed and spacious room. The bar has lovely real ale. We didn’t eat in the evening as we were visiting friends but breakfast was top class.
The way is very dark from car to room. A torch or lighting that comes on briefly would be very useful as track is uneven. Also the bed mattress was very soft for our comfort.

Extra touches e.g. brolly hanging on door if needed , lovely staff who helped us have a great bike ride next day , lovely food , very nice lady at breakfast , inn was warm and cosy and room spot on

Our room was heated well and was pleasant enough. Decent shower and clean bedding. Food was good. Service in the restaurant was good, the staff were friendly.
The location was awful smack bang next to an extremely busy fast road. Our room was a very short walk from the Inn, the walkway there was slippy and uneven underfoot. The Inn offered good food, cooked nicely from a limited menu. Breakfast was good - not exceptional as had been mentioned by other guests in reviews. The Inn itself is a typical country pub nothing more. The room had a stiff, hard to lock door and an unpleasant cleaning solution smell when we first arrived. Our stay here was ok just very unremarkable in any way!
