This home is situated on MOUNTAIN ISLAND LAKE in Charlotte.
Enjoy the beauty of Mountain Island Lake in this beautifully furnished waterfront home.
This house has 3 bedrooms and 2
full baths. The master bedroom has a king bed and a crib. The
second bedroom has a queen bed. The 3rd bedroom has a queen & a twin loft.- It's a great room for all of the kids. (There are also 2 daybeds in 2 semi-private rooms. Because you have to walk through them to access other room, I do not count them as full bedrooms, but they do have comfortable beds and I allow for the extra guests so I count the 2 rooms as 1 bedroom in the listing).
The open, well-lit, eat-in kitchen with center island is well equipped.
The sun room has a playroom for the children and amazing views of the lake.
This house is strictly NON SMOKING. Please smoke outside only and dispose of your cigarette garbage in appropriate containers.
Outside we offer a dock with table, chairs and benches, 2 swings over the water, children's play areas, an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a fire pit, etc. Rope swing is not able to be used by tenants, sorry!

This is a quintessential lake house and they even just put in a nice new paver patio for lovely outdoor dining. The boat was a perfect bonus for our stay and there was plenty of space to celebrate my son’s birthday. Our youngest daughter really enjoyed all the toys and kitchen in the kids room. There are special extra touches throughout and we would definitely stay again.

Love this adorable little getaway on the lake. Our family of 7 was in town for a wedding and this was the perfect place for us to have a mini vacation around the wedding festivities.The house is well kept and the hosts are great. Lots of surprise items around the house from reading nooks to games for the kids. Plenty of places to gather as a family to eat, talk or play games. We were the first family to enjoy the new outside patio area and furniture. It was perfect. We used this space a great deal to watch the sunrise in the morning and drink our coffee. The fire pit and the surprise s'mores supplies made for an amazing evening for us all.The pre-check in call with the owners before we arrived was a great start to our stay. Nice to talk to the home owners and get the rules of the property as well as the expectations for check in and check out of the house. Lots of great tips given (and used) on this call as well. She made us feel very welcome to her home. Would love to stay here again when we are back in town visiting family.

I can say this was one of the best stays I've had! The hosts were extremely accommodating to me and my family. The fishing was excellent. Make sure to ask about the boat rental that's on the property, huge plus!. The house and property was immaculate. I would definitely stay again next time I'm in Charlotte

We had an exceptional time staying here! There were 3 generations of 8 adults for a week over Thanksgiving. There were plenty is spaces to spread out and the backyard, fire pit and lake were so relaxing. We loved the pontoon and used it everyday. Close to many things in Charlotte but just relaxing at the house and on the Lake was our favorite. The hosts were very kind, helping us to make our family Thanksgiving perfect!
