Kiewa Country Cottages

Our cottage was fastidiously clean. The beds were very comfortable & the linen crisp & pressed. The grounds were like the garden of eden, beautifully maintained with loads of tree canopies, native animals & the lovely little creek at the bottom - the owner clearly takes a lot of pride in the beautiful gardens.

I personally prefer the little guest soaps to the "zero waste" pump soaps & toiletries, but each to their own. I appreciate that small businesses are under a lot of pressure to save on costs, but I did feel that splicing the dish scourer into (thirds?) was a bit extreme. Our cottage was two bedroom. The living area & the couches were pretty small. There was a sign up that we could request more coffee pods from reception, but given we stayed for 3 nights it would have been nice to have a few more left in the unit for us.

Air conditioning not working correctly(16 degrees was more like 25) Tv old and digital reception was bad. No ability for Netflix etc. Door to toilet was barely rolling on its rollers and very stiff which made a lot of noise and hard to manoeuvre when closing or opening. Steep walk to room from carpark to bring bags in. Too many rules posted everywhere made life uncomfortable. Some cutlery outdated(no steak knives for example) Minimal supplies for a longer stay and no top up or servicing of room. Extra supplies like toilet paper not supplied. General maintenance needs doing on facility.
