Daphne Hotel

I booked this hotel for a one-day solo staycation, and it turned out to be one of the most peaceful stays I’ve had. As a solo traveller, I was looking for a place where I could spend some quality time with myself, relax, and enjoy complete peace. I found this hotel on Booking.com and booked it immediately. The hotel is located a little inside from the main road, but the beach is just a 2–3 minute walk away, which is a huge advantage. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and always willing to help. Although there isn’t dedicated parking within the hotel premises, there is a safe parking area nearby within walking distance, so that wasn’t an issue. The room was clean, the restroom was spacious, and what I loved the most was the peaceful atmosphere. It almost felt like I had the entire hotel to myself. There was no unnecessary noise, no disturbance, and no housekeeping interruptions. It was exactly the kind of calm environment I was hoping for. I genuinely feel that every rupee I spent on this stay was worth it. I had a wonderful experience, and I’ve already decided that this will be my first choice whenever I visit Mahabalipuram again or simply need a peaceful break from my routine. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing, and comfortable stay.

The bed is below average comfortable, and the sheet was torn in some parts.

Lovely ambient hotel veey close to the beach,friendly relaxed staff..really nice rooms..cheap rates but good quality for the price

The only thing they could do to improve is have hot water for shower

The only plus point of the property is it open space and garden and spacious room which we had taken. The support staff Mani was quite helpful.

1. The bed sheets were worn out and torn 2. The bathroom health faucet holder was broken 3. Water was leaking from old rusted taps 3. No tissue holder/ soap Holder.
