No entertaiment in the evenings

We liked the location so close to the track but far enough away from large crowds.
Bed were uncomfortable, food facilities in our zone had electricity issues so there was always issues with getting meals.

The breakfast was advertised as a continental one however, the selection of food was very basic. I would have expected fruit, pastries and yogurts rather than just cereals and toast. There was free tea and coffee but there was a problem with the water boiler and no cups were offered if you did not provide your own.
A full English was an option although the extra price of £13.50 served on cardboard plates and wooden cutlery.
The standard of tents were poor and pitched very close to each other which meant there was not much privacy and quiet, especially at night.
There was a potential health and safety issue with cars parked directly behind and too close to accommodation.
Shortly after our arrival, a member of staff told us that we would have to move tents which would have been inconvenient after we had already unpacked. Another member of staff then had an argument with the first staff member about another guest being asked to move.
In the end we did not have to move but this situation did cause us concern and uneccessary stress.

Located very close to the track for the festival. The staff were always on hand, very friendly and working hard. The breakfast was a bonus as you didn’t need to worry about bringing food. The facilities were always lovely and clean. Excellent trip.

Close to the circuit. Easy walking distance, but all events are right round the other side of the circuit, i.e main stage etc. so involves a lot of walking.
On site entertainment was actually better!
I think individually travellers are unfairly treated.
A for bed pod costs the same as a 2 bed pod, so 4 people for 3 nights works out at about £70 per person per night.
1 person has to pay the full amount, £270 per night.
Doesn't seem fair.
Also, I expected bedding and towels. Nothing, just a mattress!
Friday night was bloody freezing, despite the recent heatwave.
I slept in my clothes and a warm mac, but still ended up in my car.
Decided to bite the bullet and take the 4 hour round trip home to get my duvet and a bath towel.
Can't blame anyone for the weather, rule Britannia! But things could have been better at the venue, and overall, poor value for money.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, there was a great food selection and entertainment in the on site event tent and the atmosphere was great. The facilities were really good and kept very clean and it was good being able to use the posh facilities in the golf club!
There was nothing I didn't like!

Not a lot, definitely not ‘Deluxe’. Tent was spacious meant for four people.
For a delux camping experience the beds were only inflatable lilos. A single base sheet and a single quilt which as we found out on our first night meant that the ‘bed’ itself was very cold. We ended up wrapping the single quilt around like a sleeping bag. The included breakfast was only cereal and toast, if you wanted anything hot it was payable (about £15 for a cooked breakfast or £8 for a bacon bap). First morning no hot water (no one though to connect it to the boilers). Second morning ran out of milk (awaiting delivery). Make sure that if you want electric in your tent its paid for as its an extra. We didn’t realise so used the phone charging facility but the shop ran out of padlocks on the Friday. The site make assurances about silencing radios etc at 10pm but we were kept awake until 1 am with the noise from the circuit, it started again at 5.30am.

On booking and paying a lot of money apparently somewhere in the long small print it mentioned there was no on site bar or food. I did not see this but when I arrived to site I noticed no food or bar. We only had snacks with us which wasn't ideal. When I booked the website said everything provided.
When I asked I was just told (it was in the info email) that was after I paid and I would of lost money if I cancelled. Then the "LUXURY" glamping pod was a child size rag tent that was cold and dirty. Overall I wouldn't recommend or use again.
Everything!

The race
The tent was nothing like advertised . Totally the opposite in fact . Absolutely rip of what for we paid . The bed was totally deflated . Even though we paid for a luxury double bed! Absolutely disgusting what we paid for this.

The original booking included breakfast but an email prior stated we no longer got breakfast but no form of redress? Given we had to then purchase breakfast slightly confusing as to why it couldn’t have been provided. Disappointing customer service.

Staff were all lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Position of camp site was good for Silverstone.
Sadly the weather was not good which made for a wet and very muddy stay. The inflatable bed was flat every morning so we did not sleep well. The toilets and wash facilities were a long way from the tent and left a lot to be desired re cleanliness. By day 2 the toilets were filthy and not sure they were cleaned throughout our stay - there were a lot of muddy people using the toilets and showers. The breakfasts were late every morning and although you could eat as much as you wanted the quality of the food provided was not good. We felt a 'moat' running along one fo the fields was dangerous as it was not lit and you had to walk past it to get to the loo - very dangerous at night.

The staff were excellent, friendly & accommodating they kept my 12 year old grandson entertained as he thought the bikes were 2 loud & he was missing his x box 😳the area was beautiful the lake & walk to the race track was great but a bike hire would go down well👍
Sorry this camping lark is not for me I couldn’t sleep I didn’t bring my own bedding my grandson had bedding but I got a sleeping bag that’s my fault I did hear that the breakfast should start at 6 on Sunday for Moto GP Race day but I had to fetch my ticket I did notice that they weren’t very organised at breakfast but they were upperclass men who probably have there mummy to do everything🤔
