Gutshof Falkenhagen

The apartment is located in a renovated manor house, where we spent 5 nights. The place is interesting and very well maintained. You can park in the enclosed garden, which is also great for grilling, relaxing, and spending leisure time. It’s clear that the property was created with great care and attention to detail, which is why it was a bit surprising that there were a few minor hiccups (see below). Overall, the whole place is very peaceful and quiet, and we spent some really pleasant days here, so I’m giving it a high score.

(1) The kitchen is well-equipped, but we would have appreciated a sharp knife and a toaster. (2) The bedroom windows cannot be fully darkened. (3) We had the feeling that the host wanted to avoid meeting us in person at all costs. Because of this, the payment process was quite stressful and involved a lot of intensive communication for us. (4) Since there is no permanent staff on the estate, some unusual issues can arise. For example, our key unlocked the apartment, but it didn't open the main entrance. Unfortunately, we only realized this after returning from a long excursion after 11 PM, when everything had already gone quiet in the house....

Ein herrlicher Ort zum Lesen und Entspannen. Das Haus liegt in einem großen, ruhigen, abgelegenen parkartigen Garten, mit den Fahrrädern, die man sich ausleihen darf, ist man in 10 Minuten am Greifswalder Bodden und an einem ebenso ruhigen und abgelegenen Ministrand. Wir wurden äußerst herzlich und zuvorkommend behandelt und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell in Stralsund oder auf Rügen. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen für Leute, die Abgeschiedenheit in schöner Umgebung schätzen.

Der Gutshof ist hochwertig und mit Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Er bietet ein einmaliges Reiseerlebnis. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend.

Da Supermärkte entfernt sind, wäre genügend Grundausstattung wie Küchenpapier wichtig.

Das Ferienhaus liegt wunderschön und ruhig im Park. Wir waren total ungestört. Das Haus selbst ist schön eingerichtet, wir konnten auch den Balkon gut nutzen.

Das Licht im Bad könnte besser sein. Die Küchenausstattung ist etwas knapp.
