Clean comfortable & Welcoming

The breakfast was large with lots of choice. Fresh fruit & yogurts with cereals to choose from.

The car park was smaller than I had anticipated. Carpark spaces for 5 cars. Parking out the front was free but you had to be lucky to get a parking space.

Great location. Peaceful hotel. We had a lovely big bright room, well worth paying a bit extra for. Breakfast was 10/10.

Very enjoyable, comfortable, welcoming and amazing value for money.

The property was exceptional, very clean and spacious with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location of the property itself was wonderful, with a beautiful sea view from our room, also being only a couple of minutes walk from the beach front which made it very convenient for our stay. Our hosts were lovely also, we felt at home as soon as we came through the door. Can’t fault the breakfast!

Excellent location close to all amenities, good choice at breakfast, lots of different fruits and cereals as well as a very good full english with a choice of eggs. Very good shower and nice big rooms.

Wifi wasnt very good, spent most of the time with no internet, which was fine for a short stay.

Weekend away

The guest house was perfectly located to all local amenities and the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was supereb and of very high quality. We would highly recommend this establishment. And we will definitely be returning.

A lovely comfortable 3 nights spent at Gate Lodge.

Our bedroom was on the top floor with a sea view. We had a ceiling fan as well as well as a free standing fan, which was much appreciated as the weather was very hot during our stay, also had a mini fridge in the bedroom. Good full English breakfast. The whole house was spotless Archie & Stephen couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a very comfortable stay.

Excellent B&B - would recommend!

Very comfortable room with a sea view and everything that I needed and more. The fridge with the mini bar and the fans were lovely touches; especially during this hot summer. Great hosts and I would definitely stay again!

Stephen and Archie were perfect hosts, breakfast exceptional to detail and choice, no fat at all. The honesty bar for the evening was great and showed complete trust in their occupants.

Internet could have been better and more stable, but that's me as I was there on work ,if on holiday it doesn't matter
