Holiday home Imanta

Ein großes Haus, das alles bietet:angefangen von Sauna bis Billard,Trampolin und Schaukel für die Kinder. Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Die Lage in Imanta ist sehr gut!

Etwas unangenehm fand ich,dass Besitzer auf dem selben Gelände wohnen,obwohl sie uns gar nicht gestört haben. Für den Familienbesuch mussten wir für jeden Gast extra zahlen.

L’emplacement est idéal pour qui veut circuler vers Riga et ses alentours ( Tram 1 à 300m environ). Beaucoup de canapés et coins lecture, toute la famille s’est trouvé un endroit confortable pour lire ou jouer.

Sauna HS, et odeur d’humidité persistante et forte dans les sanitaires du rez-de-chaussée, cuisine sous-équipée, espace repas juste et assez inconfortable. Dans notre séjour, les températures n’étaient pas très élevées, la maison était froide, en l’absence du sauna, aucun moyen de réchauffer l’atmosphère globale. La maison a du potentiel, dommage de ne pas faire les «  petits » efforts pour la rendre encore meilleure.

The place is very nice: quiet and next to a forest. The location is very good, too. The personnel were friendly.

The house is quite tatty and the furnishings displeasing, and some things on the ad are untrue. The kitchen is quite awful and small. It’s far from fully equipped, as it’s advertised. There’s no oven, no dishwasher and no coffee maker. The fridge is in poor condition and turned to warm initially. The kitchen utensil assortment was inadequate. Washing the dishes was a nightmare. There weren’t enough room to dry the dishes. There was only one sink, and it was located so, that one had to stand askew to do the washing. Water was not hot enough for washing, so one had to boil water in the kettle for that. The downstairs bathroom area had a disgusting stench. The door to the bathroom area was not tight (jammed, though), so that the stench wafted to the common area, too. There is a fireplace, as advertised, but it was strictly forbidden to use. When it rained hard, water sloshed down next to the chimney. The beds were nice and large, but the mattresses were somewhat soft. The 2nd downstairs bedroom had a bed so large there was hardly any space left for anything else in the room. Unlike advertised, there is no A/C, no slippers and no work desk. Also, the downstairs floor is vinyl and not wood, tile or carpet. The free Wi-Fi did not work at all. The person who welcomed us didn’t speak any English, nor us any Russian, so our introduction to the house was somewhat incomplete. We weren’t advised on how to return the gate remote control, so I ended up standing in the rain, pounding the owner’s door for a good while to return that upon departure. During our stay, the personnel had been into the house whilst we were out, which was not agreed on beforehand. They did take the trash out then, which was nice. There was a possibility to use a sauna and a hot tub, but the prices were so ridiculously high we passed those. On the courtyard, there was a shabby cat, which seemed almost feral: we were afraid it could attack us, so we trod very carefully around it.
