The hotel room was very spacious for a Japanese hotel and had a balcony. The restaurant on the 30th floor had amazing views of Kobe and the food was great.
The rooms were a little old fashioned
The staff to book in the pool/buffet deal were very awkward and seemed that they didn't want to let foreign guests book in. They were not flexible at all and the only reason why we managed to book was that my wife is fluent in Japanese.

The staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with excellent housekeeping every day. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the dinner buffet was equally impressive with high-quality food. I also loved the rooftop bar, which had a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel’s free shuttle bus to Shin-Kobe and Sannomiya stations every 20 minutes was very convenient, and the metro station is only a 5-minute walk away. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations and is an excellent choice for staying in Kobe.
I didn’t encounter any significant issues during my stay. Everything from the service and facilities to the dining and transportation exceeded my expectations.

Dated, very old. It wasn’t easy to get around hotel, doesn’t flow or connect to important sites within. No coffee in room. Charge for coffee. Hotel charges $18 USD per hour to register early or extend from 11:00 to noon or 1:00 PM.
