Kurma Eco Beach Lodge

- On-site restaurant was very good and affordable - Super friendly staff - Internet was good - Great location. Easily accessible to most things with a simple tuktuk ride - They were great at organizing island tour. - Walking distance from White Island port - On-site Yoga, Qi Gong and Freediving is available and affordable. We only did the Yoga and it very well instructed - Great price to stay and check out the island

- Beach is swimmable but was poorly maintained. Alot of trash in and around the water. Also very rocky which isn't the resorts fault.

Great place right by the ocean with amazing views, a relaxed atmosphere, and stylish, spacious rooms. Each room has a small terrace overlooking the sea, which makes it a perfect spot to unwind. The property is generally quiet and has a peaceful, laid-back vibe—ideal for reading your favorite book and enjoying the surroundings. Parking is available, and drinking water is provided at the reception.

The rooms could benefit from having more wall hooks for clothes and towels. It would also be better if towels were replaced daily.

I’d recommend it as a restaurant (pricey compared to the area) but not as a place to stay. Food was really good and staff friendly and helpful, aside from that is a big no.

Property is much older than the pictures, there are holes everywhere and it’s pretty rundown. The room and bathroom was full of ants, they would come and go. We assume they were gone everyday immediately after the room was cleaned but then they came back. The bed is so hard we woke up everyday with neck pain. The breakfast is very good but very expensive 350pesos/person without coffee! It basically cost more than a dinner! The aircoin is ridiculously noisy! Yes, we know it’s pretty typical in the Philippines and we learn to leave with that after a month in the country but this was something we never experienced anywhere so far, we had to use earplugs or switch it off entirely. The price is incredibly high compared to standards in the area and in the Philippines in general, also considering that nothing is included in your price and that the place does not look as new/nice and clean as in the pictures.
