It was well off the beaten path but worth it for the views. We saw an iceberg on our way in. Husband said pull out couch was really comfy! Second bed in livingroom was comfy. Our son-in-law said his bed sunk in middle. Floors creak to point of waking up clothes when using bathroom. Sound travels through place so no privacy.
I wouldnt advise navigating the road after dark. Narrow and steep with loose rocks. Paying $30.00 cad pp for bedding was a bit excessive on top of Booking cost. Not well equipped for cooking though it was exceptionally clean. We were told that we had to clean before leaving or incur additional $350 cad charge. Needless to say, we left it in immaculate order and didn't even shower because we didnt want to spend any more time cleaning than we had to.Our son-in-law said his bed sunk in middle. Amazing, beautiful location in the western fjords. Beautiful large property on private beach. Cottage is old farmhouse - no frill, but a lot of history and charm. Paid extra to park on the property after check out to watch solar eclipse
The ceilings and doorways are very low in the cottage we were in. Being 5 ft 10 in, I hit my head a few times
