    We stayed at the Canal Hotel and it was very nice. We enjoyed be able to walk by near attractions and restaurants.

    The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast and the breakfast area were wonderful. We were on top floor and in good shape and only small luggage and it was a challenge getting up there. I’d recommend requesting lower floor if you have a medium to large suitcase and if you can’t walk up a lot of stairs.

    Loved having afternoon cocktail on the terrace which is on the canal, great breakfast. Only downside is no elevator and going up narrow staircase with gig luggage would be a challange. If you can have a room on bottom or lower floors, this would not be a problem. Great hotel.

    This hotel is not worth the rate they charge. The rooms are extremely small, the bathroom glass is see through (absolutely no privacy). The bathroom tub/shower is a huge safety issue. The staircase (no elevator) is very difficult to go up and down. The pictures are VERY deceiving. This hotel is nothing like it looks on the internet. The only positive is the staff was very nice.
