Very hospitable. Gorgeous located. Alpine fairy tale.

The gorge where this "haus" is located is between the valley's of Sölden & Huben. If you look up the definition of a "gorge", this location is a perfect match for it. The view is breathtaking (atleast when the peaks aren't hidden in the clouds). The breakfast (or Frühstück as it's called in Austria) was rustic, but non-the-less perfect. And definitely worth what was charged for it. We are planning to return next year.

We went at the end of May, which we found out isn't the best time of year to visit Austria. For one this month is their holiday month. When most shops are closed. It's after the winter season and before the start of the summer rush. We didn't realize that going during their (religious) holiday would mean even restaurants tend to be closed. Do not go in May, unless you actually WANT to make pictures of deserted streets!

One of my best stays in Austria

One of the best properties I’ve ever been to Austria. I cannot complain about anything. Everything was very clean, it has all the facilities you need when going to skiing. The property owners were very respectful and even their cat is so lovely.

The value for money is excellent! Everything is very clean and it's also modern where it needs to be (kitchens, bathrooms and WiFi) and then cosy and homey where it needs to be such as the interior and foodwise. In the summer you are given a premium summer card for free which gives you massive savings on activities and transport in the surrounding area. Ellen is also so lovely, she makes you feel right at home and takes care of you the best she can, it's all very personal and doesn't feel like a business.and more like a home! The location is excellent with only being 10 mins away from the nearest town make it quiet but very close to everything, I'll be staying here again for sure!

The host is a lovely lady who takes care of all facilities herself! I stayed in Alpengluhn for second time and I would recommend it to everybody! Clean, quite, nice breakfast in the morning, Solden easy to access buy car and bus.

Great location, friendly host

Ski bus stop is 150m, ride is 7min, so quickly you can get to the slopes. Breakfast was good with bakery, sausage, orange juice, muesli.

Room is quite small along with the bathroom, nothing else.

Charmante gastvrijheid: warm, persoonlijk en oprecht. Alles is met zorg ingericht en fijn onderhouden. Lekker ontbijt. Basic kamer met alles wat nodig is. Bushalte voor de deur waarmee je op 10 minuten aan de skilift bent.

Ein rundum herzlicher, komfortabler und preiswerter Aufenthalt!

Wir hatten einen rundum wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Haus Alpenglühn und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir von Irene und ihrem Mann Gerold überaus freundlich empfangen und direkt zum Frühstück gebeten – man hat sich vom ersten Moment an herzlich willkommen gefühlt. Die Gastgeberfamilie geht auf alle Wünsche ein: Croissants konnten problemlos extra bestellt werden, und das Frühstück war jeden Morgen individuell auf uns abgestimmt. Dieser persönliche Service ist wirklich außergewöhnlich. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich, sauber und gepflegt, mit einem neuen, modernen Bad. Besonders schön war die Aussicht auf die Berge, die man jeden Tag genießen konnte. Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist die Lage: Der Bus zum Lift hält direkt vor der Tür und fährt regelmäßig. Wir waren anfangs etwas skeptisch, aber alles ließ sich hervorragend abstimmen. Die kurze Fahrzeit von etwa fünf Minuten war absolut kein Problem. Auch preislich ist das Haus Alpenglühn sehr attraktiv. Definitiv preiswert – wer hier übernachtet, kann Geld sparen, und es lohnt sich aus unserer Sicht deutlich mehr, als direkt in der Stadt zu wohnen. Ganz besonders möchten wir hervorheben, wie herzlich, aufmerksam und nett die Gastgeberfamilie ist. Wir haben uns nicht nur gut betreut, sondern wirklich willkommen und rundum wohl gefühlt. Genau diese persönliche Atmosphäre macht den Aufenthalt so besonders. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Voortreffelijk verblijf voor skivakantie

Uitstekende verzorging. Gasthaus in zeer goede staat. Skigebied makkelijk te bereiken met de skibus. Al met al goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Fantastisch verblijf

De gastvrijheid. Het heerlijke ontbijt met lekkere koffie. Echt typisch Oostenrijks. De ligging is ook perfect. 10 minuten met de skibus die tussen 08.00 en 10.00 om de 10 minuten gaat.

Alles beviel ons. Wij komen zeker terug.

Csendes hely, gyönyörü kilátással. Kedves szállásadó, finom, bőséges reggelik, kényelmes ágy, tisztaság és nyugalom. Jó kiindulasi pont túrázáshoz. Mindennel meg voltunk elegedve. A cica pedig gyönyörű!

Prima lokatie voor skiën in Sölden.

Eigenaars gasthaus makkelijk bereikbaar en zeer flexibel. Konden in overleg eerder inchecken en later uitchecken. Gemoedelijke sfeer. Prima kamers, niet erg ruim, maar wel goede bedden en douche. Uitgebreid ontbijt met iedere dag een vers gekookt eitje. Gratis parkeren voor de deur en skibus stopt direct voor de deur. Ca 5-10 minuten rijden naar Sölden.

Kamers niet heel ruim, maar geen probleem want mochten s avonds ook in de stube zitten.

Toller Aufenthalt mit sehr netten Vermietern, wenn nur alle so wären !

Das Haus ist toll für ein paar Tage zum Skifahren. Skibus direkt vor der Haustür. Toller Skikeller. Geniales frisches Frühstück. Es fehlte an nichts. Frische Eier jeden morgen - gekochte Eier, Rühreier, Spiegelei....Die Bäder sind nicht gemacht, ganz Toll. Wir hatten das Appartment bekommen - grandios.

Nix...rundherum ein toller Aufenthalt. Wenn wir nach Sölden Skifahren gehen ist das Haus Alpenglühn unsere erste Adresse.
