Shiraraso Grand Hotel

I recommend this if you prefer to stay closer to the beach. Otherwise, there might be some other accommodations that would be right for you. I loved the stay because the beach is easy access however it would have been better if there is a locker outside near the changing/shower room so you don't have to worry about where to leave your things if you are swimming alone. There is a faucet/shower right before you enter the hotel to clean yourself after coming from the beach. The hot spring bath was great. The room was okay clean. I noticed some dust on the TV and the desk lamp but I wasn't sure if it was because of the aircon.

Some staff are friendly but some are not good and not helpful. I reserved a parking and told them but they gave to other client. They said their staff gave to another client by mistake. I said who but they did not tell . Also not giving me another parking even they had. After my negotiation and strong request, they found a parking to me. However, overall the attitude was not friendly, especially a trainee staff called Sanddesh was rather rough and impoliet. Although the hotel is convenient and close to the beach, but the facilities and staff attitude are bad while the price was charged relatively high than others Read good comments before booking, but found the service standard dropped a lot.

We paid over *** per night for our stay, so we expected professional service. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing because of the way our reservation was handled by ***. Our reservation was for 2 adults and 2 children (both 12 years old) with a two-night stay including breakfast and dinner. While we were exchanging emails about ordering a birthday cake for my husband’s birthday, *** suddenly informed us that our children would receive regular meals on the first day but infant food on the second day, without giving any explanation. Since our check-in was only one day away, we decided to clarify everything at the front desk upon arrival. The staff apologized and told us it was probably due to an English communication issue, assuring us that there was no possibility our 12-year-old children would be served baby food. We also contacted Agoda customer service, who confirmed they had coordinated with the hotel and that the children’s meals had been corrected. However, on the second evening, our children were still served baby food. When I asked about this, *** insisted that I had already confirmed the meal arrangement by email. This was simply not true. First, I never confirmed such an arrangement. Second, our reservation clearly stated that both children are 12 years old. It makes absolutely no sense that we would specifically request infant meals for 12-year-old children. The hotel could not produce any evidence that I had ever confirmed this. Instead of apologizing and correcting the mistake immediately, they stopped serving dinner to all four of us while arguing about the issue. This was completely unacceptable. Thankfully, another front desk staff member who spoke both English and Chinese stepped in, understood the situation immediately, and resolved everything quickly. This clearly showed that the problem was not complicated—it was caused by poor internal communication and the attitude of certain staff members. Everyone can make mistakes. What truly disappointed us was not the mistake itself, but the refusal to admit it, the lack of communication between staff, and the arrogant attitude shown toward paying guests. For a hotel charging more than *** per night, this level of service is simply unacceptable. I sincerely hope the management reviews how guest issues are handled and provides better training to prevent other guests from experiencing the same frustration.
