Friendly staff Good food and nice breakfast

Bedroom looked ok, clean sheets and towels. The bathroom needed attention- dirty grout on tiles and silicone sealant well past it's best under the shower screen. Lots of large dead spiders inside the light and grubby light pull cords. The stairs and hallways leading to the rooms really need a revamp and get rid of the horrible air fresheners!

Meals were large serves, Brewery on site so got to try some new beers. Room very clean and comfortable

Very isolated. No shop in village so will need to bring everything with you.

The room was clean and comfy Breakfast was basic but nice Staff were friendly on the whole Lots of space to park

The bathroom only had a bath with a hand held shower, this was obviously ok, just less pleasant than a shower, the ceiling of the bathroom also slanted so the whole time in the bathroom had to be bent over so as not to bang your head. The noise level was also an issue for us, noise started around 6,30/7 in the morning , I assume coming from breakfast staff. On the Friday evening there was also a large group in, loud music was being played in the conservatory , fine as it is a Pub so expected . The music was still going at 23.15 with no signs of stopping , we had to go down eventually and ask if it could be turned down . The staff then did act which was good, but a prior warning of the group being in, and a 23.00 cut off would have been appreciated. The noise from the people in the car park went on until well after midnight . Whilst we appreciate we are staying above a pub, this was excessive noise , and with the early start lead to a far from restless evening.
