It's Mama Shelter, so it has to be cool 😎
Their focus on adult entertainment is refreshing and very positive.
Staff super helpful.
Nice parties in the restaurant.
Too expensive for not offering any amenities like gym, spa or swimming pool.
Breakfast was in nice setting, but selection was a bit too standard and too expensive for 21€. And the cappuccino wasn't so nice. And you know: coffee matters. Especially in the morning.
Extra points for offering oat milk, though!
The surrounding was a little bit too loud, investing in better sound insulation in the windows might be nice.
And yes we were spoiled: the Mama Shelter in L.A. is a place everybody loves and the food and the parties are so great, that the bar for other locations is super high.

The rooms had everything we needed, were spacious enough, bottled water was provided, we could cast stuff on the tv and it came with free movies too. The location is 6 minutes away from cours julien so there are lots and lots of bars and restaurants nearby.
The adult content vibe was unexpected and weird, made the place feel a bit sleazy, the masks in the room are creepy. The feng shui is completely off in the room with the bed facing the door and two giant mirror on both sides of the bed.

The location, the bar, the DJ on Friday night and the breakfast.
Our room on the first floor smelled strongly of cooked food from the hotel kitchen as soon as we checked in. We asked to move and there was a delay by which time all our clothes smelled too because they'd been in there for 24 hours.
