Excellent

Our stay was beyond expectations. Upon check-in, we received a free room upgrade. The facilities and pools are well maintained and clean, they are well laid out so that there is no crowd. The sandy beach seems a bit narrow and small, but every day we found sunbeds and umbrellas. Among the pools and the beach is a beautifully landscaped garden and an amphitheater for evening entertainment and shows. At the entrance to the road is a private parking lot, fenced and guarded. There are several restaurants and bars with unlimited consumption of food and drinks, aqua park, spa... In Turkish hotels, tip boxes can be seen on every corner, where the staff try to somehow extort tips. I didn't see any tip boxes in this hotel and the staff were diligent in their work. Of course the staff will gladly accept a tip, but they never extort it from the guests. We would stay at this hotel again for the same price.

So nearly great, but what a final failure

The staff were generally exceptional from arrival, and through all the departments. At most points attentive and very friendly. The hotel offers a good variety of nutritious hot and cold food. Outstanding in the areas of Bakery and Patisserie! The accommodation was perfect for our requirements, given my disabilities, although not ideal in location for someone with obvious mobility limitations.

It only takes one bad experience to spoil that perfect break, and for anyone with potentially fatal food allergies, the hotel ostensibly went to extreme lengths. Sadly cross contamination left my final experience as being very ill, continuing after checking out. It didn't register that I could not manage anything stronger than water, and avoided all food service areas. I also didn't appreciate the tall, arrogant lounge waiter speaking loudly at my ( in Turkish) to ensure that I was very aware of his being unhappy. Having him come out of nowhere, his actions were far from welcome and, as it turned out, should not have been addressed to me- or indeed any guests in such an abrupt manner. Perhaps greater thought could be given to both location and content for animation? Inclement weather occurs even in Turkey, and guests with mobility issues will struggle to attend the amphitheatre. Evening entertainment could certainly not be described as five star. Lastly, not all guests of retirement age are comfortable with technology. Telling guests in response to any questions to scan their key cards is isolationist. Failure to have a full list of non alcoholic beverages available should be standard in in Muslim country. It aligns with religious beliefs and of course many guests with medical issues cannot tolerate alcohol. Given the high price of purchasing alcohol, anything which reduces that consumption should be S.O.P. - just not here

not enough entertainment activities. amfi theatre closed throughout our stay, even though hotel was full of guests. no volleyball, archery or airgun as per their promotion. limited variety of food, although food tastes good but number of dishes could have increased. kids swings very old woth no safety measures for toddlers.

woke up at 2.15am to blaring music but it wasn’t from the resort. it was from the beach beside the resort. it woke us up and we were on the 6th floor. so it was loud.

Amazing views & facilities were great, some minor issues with communication and signage.

Hotel was clean & room was very spacious. Multiple pools & beach with sunbeds always available. Lots of choice of restaurants & staff pleasant. Cleaning staff very good & came every morning. Good location, out of town a little bit but easily walkable & the local buses stop right outside &, take you there in 5mins for 7.50 lira per person. The views are stunning and despite minor issues with communication it was an amazing hotel.

Our room was extremely noisy. We were on the 2nd floor I think due to travelling with a child which was great in terms of accessibility to things, however the outside noise was very loud all through the night. We also couldn't find any information on what was on I.e. where the kids club ran from, if there were shows on. There were posters displayed saying kids club & shows but it didnt specify times/location so in our 4night stay we only made it to one show which we found accidentally. Also the water slides are only opened certain hours which again there was no signage for. None of the outside restaraunts have menus at all & nobody seems to know where you can get things from if they dont serve it - I.e. we seen people with wraps but all the restaraunts/bars we tried said they didnt do them. Nothing major at all but could be improved.

I experienced one of the worst leisure trips in this hotel. I booked 1+3 days in this hotel and paid the fee, and it was due to a problem on the booking .com, one day was canceled, and because we planned to stay for one day, the fee was paid. The matter was resolved with the coordination of the hotel manager and the reception, but one day remaining to finish they told me at 12 o'clock that I should leave the hotel and even did not allow me to eat lunch, also don't let me time to confirm with booking.com considering that I am a member of GINUS, they treated me rudely and unethically. And to the management of the liar. I don't even give the reception of the hotel zero points and it is negative...

dont book this hotel if u are thinking that will be the same as in the pictures. in the whole hotel where just one lady at the frontdesk and the towel lady at the pool friendly. the food was a disaster, food what was 2/3 days old. The security doesnt do there job, checks no one who is entering the hotel. prices for entering beach club where af front desk between 50-100€ and at the beach self 200lira.. the pools are dirty, the room was smelly and dirty

Really nice hotel. We had some issues in the beginning but after everything was sorted out. We wasn't happy with our room and manager was really helpful and he changed room straight away. All staff was amazing and really helpful. Food was really tasty and they have different option's to choose from. Cocktails they was good as well:) . Really nice and clean rooms. Where to begin Staff couldn’t speak English so was very difficult communicate,Beds were rock solid,No water or electric on couple of occasions lifts kept breaking down with us stuck inside, had my disabled mother with us so didn’t help having to get her to the 3rd floor.Food started off ok and deteriorated as the stay went on.

Very poor Turkish food this hotel food doesn't represent Turkish food Plus they have 2 buildings in hotel they are apart from eachother the one we stayed in was like ghost hotel We had to walk other building to use amenities and food They have infinity carbano pool to stay and use the pool cost you 1000 turkish lira ..this is rip off. and this pool is the only pool older kids can't stand in the pool if you don't count babies pool Waiters and waitress working very hard As Turkish person I will never stay here again

Raum Pool und Strand sehr sauber, teilweise freundlicher Personal, Auswahl reiches Essen und Getränke.

In der neben Gebäude war ein Chef Kellner der war zu frech und unhöflich. Das Bett war auch nicht so bequem und für 4 Personen gebucht einer meinen Sohn musste am Couch schlafen was eigentlich unbequem war.

Лишь на третий день мы только узнали, что в главной столовой, если пройти до конца, в открытые двери, есть открытая площадка, где можно насладиться суши, раками, морепродуктами и другими деликатесами, приготовленными на мангале. 2. Бассейн, расположенный рядом с амфитеатром, предлагает вам насладиться морской водой и провести время с комфортом. Вход в бассейн бесплатный. 3. Во втором корпусе работает ресторан, который открыт до 12 часов ночи. Здесь вы сможете насладиться вкуснейшими бенгальскими вафлями, мороженым, пастой, бургерами и крылышками. 4. От ворот отеля можно доехать за 25 лир до пляжа алтункум и погулять по магазинам и поесть в ресторане 5. Рядом в 5 минутах находится мигрос и детский парк развлечений

Hotel Laur in Didim is zwaar af te raden, voor ons was het een complete teleurstelling. Vanaf dag 1 hebben we een waterlekkage vanuit de bovenverdieping. Het water drupt continu onze badkamer in — ronduit onveilig én onhygiënisch. Meerdere keren gevraagd om een oplossing of andere kamer, maar het personeel weigert iets te doen. Alles zou “vol” zitten, en ze laten je gewoon zitten met het probleem. Pas na 4 dagen verblijf hebben we een andere kamer gekregen. En alsof dat nog niet genoeg is: Het eten is eentonig (alleen kip en vis), smakeloos en de hygiëne in het restaurant is ver te zoeken. Kortom: dit hotel is geen aanrader — verre van zelfs. Zeker geen vier sterren waard. Laat je niet misleiden door mooie foto's
